Unfortunately this proposal illustrates a gross misunderstanding of how museum acquisitions work - you can’t just donate anything you want and they will take it. Donations require signifiant work and relationship building, as well as a well thought out story and financial narrative to support it. There’s also no need to acquire NFTs to exhibit them, they don’t even need to be shipped or insured as with physical work. So there’s no need to allot any treasury funds to buying NFTs for this purpose. If the goal is to have a branded traveling exhibition then a new proposal should be written focusing on that, with a significantly reduced budget that will only need to cover the branding design and marketing.

Yup. All of the above. Plus, I am pretty sure that if any museum wanted an APE exhibit they would have curated them by now.
