Thanks for this exciting proposal @Feld ! Love the work Boring Security has been doing, and want to highlight a few points I especially love:
The partnership of Boring Security with other communities such as Gitcoin, Mocaverse, and Art Blocks helps spread a positive reputation of the APE ecosystem across web 3 & is so important for ApeCoin to be recognized as a champion of public goods in the space.
The expansion of non-English classes means a lot, especially to all our community members around the world and for whom English may not be a first language. Love this so much, and love that Boring Security is helping our ecosystem build a strong international recognition!
Out of curiosity, I noticed that the Boring Security X/Twitter and Discord do not display ApeCoin prominently- would you consider adding the “Powered by ApeCoin” text in the Boring Security Twitter/Discord banner or prominently elsewhere as part of this AIP?

I would happily add that in! @shotgun.tobi (the proposal’s co-author) and marketing guru can help drum up some ways to do that. I think we can probably have that as part of this proposal, as I think it is obvious that without ApeCoin, Boring Security could not exist, and so I have no problem making that prominently displayed to the world!
We’ll work on building that into the proposal on Monday before/when we move into draft. I don’t think you’ll be the last person to request that, and want to see a tangible benefit back to ApeCoin’s brand in a more direct way.

Although we don’t publicize this, when selecting participants for our live classes, we generally have a priority based filter to accept students that our community managers will follow.
Priority #1 - Our current partner for that class
Priority #2 - One of our current partners for that month
Priority #3 - Yuga Asset Holders // those with more than just a few ApeCoin (to fight against Sybil) // Other Partner Asset Holders of previous months
Priority #4 - Other NFTs/tokens in their wallet
If you’re someone who doesn’t hold any NFTs of any of the 80+ partners we’ve partnered with, and has no/little apecoin/eth in their wallet, you will likely not get selected for a class unless it has low enrollment. The best way to get into a class is to show up on class day, 5-10 minutes before the class starts, and ask if there is room. Having any role from our collabland verification in the server helps too. Is there a ready-made infographic with lists of all project partners whose participants have already completed or are planning to undergo training? It would be clear and I think it would be pretty cool visually
We don’t have an infographic, but we do have a list in our Discord. This list is not comprehensive as we’ve added like 4-5 more and haven’t added them here yet!
Boring Security onboarded me into the DAO and I am forever thankful. As an alum of the 101 and 102 classes, this AIP a no brainer. BorSec classes should be a mandatory step for anyone coming into crypto/NFTs/web3.

If you’re content with the feedback received, your next steps are to finalize your proposal using the AIP Draft Template.
A moderator will reach out to the author to finalize the AIP Draft. Upon receipt of the final Draft, we will review and provide instructions on the next steps.
