Is this a zero cost AIP?
Curious your thoughts here as roughly the same method of execution (delegating voting power) as what I’m proposing.
Thanks.

Thanks.
The only consideration here is how do we compete with other DAOs that offer real monetary rewards when trying to acquire new entrants in regards to voting? Thanks.
I’m pleased to see support for the delegate initiative growing. The original goal was to amplify the voices of those who may not always be heard, and we need more delegates to represent diverse perspectives from all corners of the world.
Yes, but no.
This AIP is particular has no cost, but it will have a cost as it states:
This AIP is to decide whether they will move forward with their proposed program which will have a cost associated with it that will be voted on in a later AIP.
Thanks. I see you’re point - if it leaves the treasury wallet it will be recorded as a deduction - but I think it can be argued that if the money stays within the DAO’s organisational structure & its control, and it is specifically not for spending, then ZERO COST title is applicable under these certain conditions. Either way it’s certainly not disingenuous imo. I think my idea may have been slightly less ambiguous as the apecoin woukd have stayed within the apefoundation (therefore remaoning on the balance sheet).
One last point - I think we are preapproving upto 100k with this AIP, it’s just that the exact figure will be specified later, but from my reading will not exceed that amount or cannot.
Again thanks.
It would be a max of 5 x 100k for the pilot in voting rights. Therefore, max is 500k APE.
We are not asking for the funding in this AIP. We would ask 2-4 weeks after this AIP is approved in a follow up AIP, which would be a Ecosystem Fund Allocation vs this one which is an Informational Proposal.
Hope this clarifies things for all.
Thanks. It does. GL with this. ![]()

Hi ApeCoin DAO Community,
After review, this Topic submitted by @bigbull has been “Returned for Clarification”. The ApeCoin Special Council waits for answers, and the community will be notified whenever the author responds.
Kind Regards,
Me see proposal, me happi, me click like
As we have the budget waiting to go live, I am pulling this idea as a separate AIP and incorporating the concept into the overall budget plan for the GWG.
Hi ApeCoin DAO Community,
@bigbull has requested to withdraw their application. This AIP will be moved to and remain in the Withdrawn AIPs category.
Kind Regards,
