1. Your Overall Cost section lists $148,000 worth of “Operational Expenses,” but the respective subtotals amount to $188,000. Would you prefer “3D Work” ($40k) to stand on its own line?
There was a formatting error where “3D Work” ($40,000) appeared as a separate item due to misplaced asterisks (“**”). However, this amount is part of the Operational Expenses, making the total $188,000.
2. Regarding the Reporting Expectations section, please identify where the reports would be made available.
We will make the reports available on the DashBO news section, which will feature updates related to the platform, and on the ApeCoin DAO Discourse to ensure transparency and accessibility for the community.
3. You’ve noted several partnerships, including contracted agreements with Yuga Labs, Bored Closet, Otherside, and Singe. Please provide proof of consent from these parties and their willingness to cooperate in the implementation of this proposal.

4. Regarding any granted permission to use ApeCoin trademarks by the Ape Foundation, do you expect to maintain full ownership rights to the content and/or IP which may be created as a result of the approval of your proposal?
We do NOT retain any ownership rights over content created using IP that is owned by the holders. Our platform is designed to respect and protect the intellectual property of all users.
5. Is there an expected schedule for the distribution of revenue back to the DAO treasury?
Revenue distribution is planned to be done quarterly. This schedule allows for consistent financial reporting and ensures that the DAO regularly benefits from the platform’s success.
6. Since your app would require token holders to connect wallets, what are the plans for security audits of the app?
No audits have been conducted yet, as the current version of DashBO is a public demo without wallet connection or transaction features. Before launching the full platform, we will conduct a comprehensive security audit, followed by a second audit for the smart contract in Milestone 2. Both internal and 3rd-party audits will be performed to ensure compliance with best practices and security for users.
7. Aside from the DashBO credit bundles for the unlock of premium features, do you have any estimated costs for users to use the platform’s features, or any additional premium features?
We intend to keep the cost of premium content between 4-6 credits. This pricing strategy ensures affordability while maintaining the quality and accessibility of premium features on the platform.
8. Do you have plans to protect any collected user data? Please elaborate.
User data protection is a priority, and it will be ensured through our backend infrastructure, as well as through 3rd-party services like Sentry and Google Analytics. These tools help us track issues and user metrics while maintaining data security.
9. Given the costs involved in your proposal, the APE Foundation would most likely establish fund disbursement in tranches should your AIP be accepted. In what amounts and on what schedule would you propose these tranched payouts be delivered?
As detailed in our proposal’s “Steps to Implement” section, the first payment will be made at the start of Milestone 1, with the second tranche at the end of Milestone 1. This approach ensures that funds are distributed in alignment with project milestones and progress.
10. You’ve requested “additional support from the APE Foundation for community engagement initiatives and platform enhancements.” Please elaborate on the details of this request.
Our main request is to receive social media support from the APE Foundation, particularly in the form of tweets at launch and periodic retweets. This will help us engage with the community effectively and drive awareness for the platform.
11. As per the ApeCoin General Guidelines, “proposals will not be put up for vote if they involve illegal activity, hate speech, pornographic material, or are at odds with the mission or values of the APE Foundation.” Can you ensure that the content on the DashBO UGC platform would be in keeping with these guidelines?
DashBO will be 100% compliant with the APE Foundation’s content guidelines, including avoiding illegal activity, hate speech, and any material that is at odds with the mission and values of the APE Foundation. We will actively monitor and moderate content to uphold these standards.

Truly an excellent proposal. I liked the wealth of details and information. This ease of building interoperable, animated avatars will likely soon be the future of social media interactions and metaverses, and we’re apparently ahead of the curve. Congratulations.

This proposal is live for vote at Snapshot. The voting period closes 13 days from now at 9PM EST.
The AIP implementation is administered by the Ape Foundation. Implementation may be immaterially or materially altered to optimize for security, usability, to protect APE holders, and otherwise to effect the intent of the AIP. Any material deviations from an AIP, as initially approved, will be disclosed to the APE holder community.
