I know it is the holidays but wanted to check in to see how things were going or if there is anything that was expected from me that others are waiting on.
Hi @jamesyoung,
Your proposal is currently under review, we will be sure to update you with any changes, questions or follow-ups. Hope youâre having a happy holiday season.
Kind regards,
-Chris

1. Your proposal states that â25% [of fees] goes to the ApeChain community.â Please provide more details regarding these disbursements, including who would be eligible to receive them, how theyâd be claimed, disbursement schedule, etc.
We allocate the 25% community share to the designated Discord server owner or Telegram group owner, allowing them to claim the funds in the admin portal (command center) on a monthly schedule.
2. While your platform now offers a ânon-custodial tipping system,â would users be required to move any assets to a wallet within the platform in order to participate, or could they interact directly from their cold/hot/warm wallets?
No asset transfer is required to receive tokens or tips. However, to send tokens to others, members must first transfer their assets into their ApeChain smart accounts.
3. How much is the âadditional feeâ for users looking to integrate their own projectâs token into the tipping feature of Collabland?
This fee is currently under evaluation. We aim to determine a fair, market-aligned rate.
4. Is there an expected schedule for the distribution of the proposed 25% revenue share back to the DAO treasury?
We plan for the 25% revenue share to be claimable on a monthly schedule by the DAO treasury.
5. Is the team/business entity prepared to facilitate the distribution of gross revenue back to the Foundation in a way which is compliant with both the relevant local regulations and Cayman regulations?
Yes. We will ensure the distribution fully complies with all relevant local and Cayman regulations.
6. Since your app would require token holders to connect wallets, what are the plans for security audits of the app?
We rely on already audited contracts for smart accounts and use security-reviewed vendors for the 4337 infrastructure. Only the Lit Actions component requires an additional security review.
7. If you have already begun auditing the platform, please provide proof of the audit(s).
Code that is created for this proposal will need to be audited.
8. Do you have any estimated costs for users to use the platformâs features, or any premium features?
Any features above and beyond that are not described in this proposal may be subject to an additional fee that is yet to be determined.
9. Do you have plans to protect any collected user data? Please elaborate.
Smart account addresses are public by design. This is unlike the wallets used for Collab.Land verification, which are not shared with anyone without explicit consent.
10. Regarding any granted permission to use ApeCoin trademarks by the Ape Foundation, do you expect to maintain full ownership rights to the content and/or IP which may be created as a result of the approval of your proposal?
Can you re-phrase this question to provide more clarity?
11. Would your expectation be to keep complete ownership of all content produced from this proposal?
Our expectation is to maintain ownership of the content produced from this proposal, ensuring alignment with our goals and the integrity of the work. However, we are open to discussing shared usage rights if that better serves mutual interests.
12. a) How would this proposal differentiate from AIP-529: Development and Enhancement of APE-BOT Discord Tipping Bot?
We employ Lit Protocolâs âLit Actionsâ and MetaMaskâs Delegation Toolkit to provide a robust, secure, and self-sovereign environment, enabling both on-chain and off-chain programmatic interactions. AIP-529 is a centralized solution, our key management solution relies on a decentralized MPC network.
b) Would you consider collaborating with the author of AIP-539, MisterGORR, to maximize resources?
If collaboration with MisterGORR to optimize resources.
13. Do you provide consent to apply updates to the relevant areas of your proposal based on your responses to the questions above?
Yes. We consent to updating the proposal based on these responses.
14. Do you provide consent to share these questions and answers with the community in this forum?
Yes. We consent to sharing these questions and answers with the community.
A DAR package is being worked on and upon completion this AIP will move into Administrative Review. Follow this Topic as further updates will be posted here in the comments.
Kind Regards,
Generally, I think this is a well thought out idea with a structured implementation plan.
Technically, I am 100% confident that you and your team can deliver.
My only concern/question is how to get this rolled out and adopted? Love to hear more of your thoughts on this.
thanks @bigbull for the concern/question about adoption.
tl;dr : It is very hard to predict the future (especially PMF) so we want to provide the tools to enable it. Tipping is the first use case that lays the foundation for other types of interactions. 3rd party devs will help find further PMF for onchain in-chat transactions. We also want to experiment heavily with AI agents.
At the most fundamental level, the system needs to be useful in order to be adopted. We believe tipping is the initial use case because it is easy to understand and encourages community interaction through positive re-enforcement.
Since it is built using EIP-4337 and the MetaMask Delegation Toolkit, we can on-board users to crypto in a self sovereign way that removes the complexity of crypto. This lays the ground work for larger opportunities that we have yet to imagine. We want to keep the design space as open as possible.
What we are really enabling are onchain in-chat transactions - tipping being the initial use case. We have a lot of ideas for different types of interactions beyond tipping. What is really exciting is allowing 3rd party developers to contribute and extend the functionality through âslash commandsâ allowing a market to emerge and allowing us to get out of the way and NOT be the bottleneck.
Lastly, we recently open sourced our AI Agent Starter Kit and plan to integrate it with the Collab.Land Discord and Telegram bot allowing users to have their own âmini-agentsâ inside of chat. We believe group based onchain in-chat transactions could benefit from natural language instructions, lowering the barrier to adoption and increase transaction volume. Our implementation of the MetaMask Delegation Toolkit along with smart accounts allow fine grained spending limits. Giving users this control of their smart account allows communities to experiment with agents and gain confidence in the system gradually. Due to the exponential innovation that agents bring, we want to position communities to be ahead of the curve and not be left behind. It is unknown what type of edge this can bring to communities and we want to lead the way in discovery and innovation.
Hope this helps and happy to answer more questions.

Thanks for such a detailed answer and including this. I am going to test out your AI Agent Starter Kit.
Works best using CursorAI, let me know if there are any questions. We have some breaking changes incoming early next week.
