Summary
Vonga is a connected fashion company that seeks to introduce Web3 to the next wave of people through a combination of premium apparel, digital benefits and IRL experiences. Vonga is not “merch”, it is a clothing company that is positioned to compete with the biggest of brands in the market through high quality materials, design that spares no detail and remarkable craftsmanship. More than that, Vonga aims to be a platform that brings consumers on-chain through unique experiences, gamified engagement, and the introduction of consumer-focused Web3 brands to a new audience of customers and partners. Through our digital platform, we strive to broaden our collective reach as we continue expanding our corner of the internet…
In short, Vonga is more than clothes, it’s a gateway that connects the consumer to the blockchain.
What is Vonga?
Vonga is a connected apparel company, integrating physical apparel with on-chain digital experiences via the embedded Near FIeld Communication (NFC) chips in each of our garments. Each physical item is paired with an on-chain digital twin; minted on ApeChain. This technical integration makes Vonga more than just another clothing brand, but a gateway into on-chain digital benefits and experiences aimed at introducing a new set of users to the benefits of Web3.
How it Started
The vision of Vonga was inspired by ApeFest Hong Kong. While Von couldn’t attend, hearing about the experience that his friends unlocked by on-chain ownership drove him to build a company that would allow more people to come on-chain and have similar experiences. He decided on clothing as an ideal candidate to attract those less familiar to crypto as it can be more approachable and less cost prohibitive than traditional Web3 products.
Our Brand
Vonga’s brand and design is targeted for broad appeal, from the comfy traveler to the fitness enthusiast, not just those familiar with crypto or Web3. Our design is being led by James Costa at Clubhouse Archives, who has over 25 years of experience building successful and scalable fashion brands. We aim to create products and experiences that allow this broad customer segment to onboard in a consumer-friendly way.
Our Experiences
Beyond clothing, Vonga seeks to engage our customers and brand partners through a series of both digital and physical experiences, brought to life through the digital/physical integration in our clothing. From scavenger hunts at events or rewarding customers for visiting retail partners, to gamified digital experiences, our aim is that our clothing will not just be something you wear, but something you experience.
Our Platform
Our mission doesn’t stop with the people who buy our clothing. Our digital platform, powered by IYK, will also serve as a gateway for Web3 brands to interact and engage with our community, expanding our collective reach and providing value to Vonga customers that go beyond what the clothing alone provides. Partner brands will have a variety of ways to engage with our community, from simply providing discounts for awareness, to pushing content and creating gamified experiences themselves. By doing this, Vonga becomes a platform for Web3 native brands to reach new users they otherwise wouldn’t have had access to, exposing them to their brand and ApeChain. Our goal is that by working together, we can all grow together.
Marketing & Distribution
Vonga will build our customer base through two primary channels:

Ecommerce: Vonga will deploy a comprehensive online omnichannel marketing approach driving users to its online store (www.shopvonga.com). Unlike traditional brands, Vonga fully embraces the use of Artificial Intelligence and automation that will allow it to scale faster than other companies at a fraction of the cost. This also allows us to maintain competitive pricing in our class and keep overall costs down compared to teh rest of the apparel market.

Retail Distribution: In addition to online sales, Vonga is already engaged with multiple retail partners to carry our product line and will continue to expand this network. We believe that our combination of premium clothing and the ability to create unique experiences for our retail partners will make Vonga an attractive brand to carry, and something different than the other brands on their shelves.

Event Sponsorship & Experiences: Vonga will host / sponsor two high impact events in 2025 (timing of funding dependent) creating unique activations to showcase both our apparel and integrated platform, creating engaging experiences for all those that participate and highlighting both Vonga and our partner brands.
BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM
Vonga aims to revolutionize how people perceive and engage with Web3 by seamlessly integrating NFC technology into everyday clothing. The grant funding will catalyze this effort, delivering benefits such as:
- ApeChain User Expansion: Introducing Web3 functionality to a broader audience of consumers and retailers through tangible, accessible products and consumer focused experiences making Web3 accessible and inclusive.
- New Use Case for ApeChain: By appealing to a broader audience, our goal is to serve as a proof point to other brands that building on ApeChain can be more than just NFT mints, hopefully attracting a new segment of builders to the chain.
- Awareness for ApeChain and ApeChain Builders: Through our digital platform, Vonga will help promote ApeChain and partnered MBA & ApeChain companies to Vonga customers to further encourage their on-chain onboarding (provided free of charge for both MBA brands and companies building on ApeChain).

- Milestone: Finalized collection ready for retail and online distribution.

- Timeline: 6 months post-funding
- Milestone: Achieve target CTR and Conversion Rates.
- Events:
- Plan and host two in-person events.
- Timeline: Events within 12 months of funding.
- Milestone: Successful execution with measurable engagement (on-chain activity and attendance).

REPORTING EXPECTATIONS

- Milestones and progress reports will be made via Vonga’s website, social media (X), and Discourse.
Reports would continue for for 12 months (4 quarterly reports) post initial funding of Phase 2.

Tranche Funding Expectations - Three tranches of funding have been requested:
- $78,000 upon approval.
- $83,000 upon completion of Phase 1 (6 months)
- $82,000 3 months after completion of Phase 1 (9 months)
What we are seeking
We are seeking $243,000 (paid in $APE) to secure funding to design and develop Vonga’s first Core Collection, execute six months of marketing campaigns, and sponsor two high-impact events. This funding will enable Vonga to scale effectively, appeal to retail distributors, and position itself as a leader in the intersection of premium apparel and Web3 technology.
What are we building with these funds?
The first set of funds (more details in Overall Cost section) will be used to develop our 2025 Core Collection and build out our AI driven promotional platform. In addition to our Core Collection, Vonga is also planning to build an exclusive capsule centered around ApeFest to outfit Apes for the event and create a more Web3 native experience given the audience. If this is received well, we will seek to expand on this model in 2026.
The remaining funds will be dedicated to our initial marketing campaign to spread awareness of Vonga (and in turn our brand and retail partners).
