Nomination Statement

Working for Ape Foundation, Working for ApeCoin Community. Here I work for your votes!

  1. I will accept just 1 ApeCoin per month as for my compensation
  2. I will use my cosmopolitan cultural background, work experiences, and management skills to bridge different cultures and contribute to the ApeCoin community.
  3. I will bring a fresh set of decentralized global council meeting experience and governance to the ApeCoin DAO.
  4. I would like to build a leadership team to serve and protect ApeCoin DAO ecosystem!

So I am running for Special Council to represent and work for the best interest of the Ape Foundation as well as for the ApeCoin community.

Motivation

My intrinsic motivation is to get involved, learn, and understand how ApeCoin DAO is being governed and managed professionally as a decentralized global organization at present. I just submitted an AIP: “3 months probationary period for a newly elected Special Council“. So I am proposing that I will take 1 ApeCoin for compensation if I will be elected to serve as Special Council for the probationary period.

My experiences in and out of new technologies trends have allowed me to accomplish over 10 years expertise in bitcoin and Ethereum crypto mining industry, 20 years in global scale Internet security, and Cisco network infrastructure technologies. Since 2021, I have done extensive research and study about NFT, Web3, GameFi, and different Metaverse platforms, and finally invested in the Otherside Metaverse because it represents the best of the best!

I have seen the Ape Foundation has made outstanding progress, amazing growth, and much better than many other players. Therefore it would be a great honor for me to join the ApeCoin expert team and leader group, participate ApeCoin DAO Council weekly meetings to discuss AIPs and ensuring that what goes to the DAO for a vote, serve the ApeCoin dynamic community, and promote the ApeCoin token for culture, gaming and commerce use that the community owns including myself as an individual and can build on, specially on the Otherside Metaverse Web3 platform with already established 100,000 virtual land plots waiting for actions!

Rationale

Rationale = 合理 (in Chinese), I would like to use reference to Google definition “a set of reasons or a logical basis for a course of action or a particular belief", or simply to say “Reasonable” 合理!

I just submitted two AIP ideas:

A 3 months probationary period for a newly elected Special Council. So for me, rationale is that a newly elected Special Council has to prove he or she has the skills to perform as per the Special Council’s job description and requirements.

What is the rationale for the performance evaluation of the newly elected Special Council?

During the 3 months probationary period, If the elected Special Council fails to perform in a rationale measure such as failed to attend in Special Council meetings,not actively involve himself or herself in the ApeCoin a forum, and repeatedly fails to improve the levels of community engagement, other Special Council members should vote to remove the newly elected Special Council from the committee.

This is my rational view to further develop and build the foundations of a governance system to support the ApeCoin community and its leadership ambitions.

Specifications

At Easy2mine.io, I spend 5-7 hours per week in a decentralized top management meeting via Zoom, and VooV platforms, managing different projects with their localized governance strategy. At present, I manage Bitcoin mining farms operations in the North America region with 20+ employees and over $2 billion in assets.

What experience and improvement can I bring to the ApeCoin DAO?

I am willing to share my meeting experience more of how we conduct meeting on regular week-to-week basis, and a vision on how the ApeCoin DAO management process can be more engaging by using Notion productivity software platform to help the ApeCoin community communicate, collaborate, achieve consensus, and provide more transparency between the special council and the ApeCoin community.

Also, as an investor in my private capacity, I have purchased 3 Otherside Otherdeeds # 74114, #79490, #87668 for Web3 GameFi testing and development. I can do some work for the Ape Foundation, and engage with our global branding partners as well as GameFi developers for collaboration.

I would engage with Snag Solutions, the developer, and advise them to add some codes to have the NFT owner name listed “#74114, Owned by kenforest “ in ApeCoin marketplace platform. In addition, add a highlight for stolen NTF items. Therefore provide better protection for the ApeCoin NFT marketplace for the ApeCoin community.

Concluding Statement

I believe my wide international sophistication and entrepreneurship MBA education, decentralized global business operational management skills, crypto blockchain expertise, and NFT/Web3/GameFi experience would make me an excellent candidate for the Special Council role.

Good Morning, you have great questions!

Answer 1)

Since the Special Council term is only for one year, so I would like to use the 12 months time to accelerate and accomplish this one thing.

Tittle: BAYC Otherside Metaverse Game Developers Conference

First, I would like ask other ApeCoin community members like Todd, Mantis, Halina and others to join and work together as a team on writing an AIP funding request proposal:

  • Organizer would be ApeCoin DAO

  • Fund by ApeCoin Foundation

  • Invite some APE celebrities to promote the event as special speakers

Second, organize and schedule the conference in 3 different continents:

  1. America (Las Vegas before Christmas 2023)

  2. Europe (London during the new year 2024)

  3. Asia (Hong Kong or Singapore, during Chinese New Year 2024)

Third, I would think about how to attract Game Developers to join the ApeCoin orbit and ecosystem with incentives and memorable prizes.

  1. Give out free Yachts Club House one year membership,

  2. Free Otherside Game developers SDK tools

  3. Free Lottery tickets to have a change to win a BAYC Ape as 1st price, Mutant Ape as 2nd price, and 3rd a Otherside deed with a Koda.

The ApeCoin community is pretty amazing.

Since I joined this community in April 21st, 2022, and decided to run for Special Council to serve the community, I have met several members who are very supportive and active.

Question 2) Are there any factors in your life that may limit your ability to serve? (conflicts of interest, time allocation, limited wifi bc you work from Starbucks… etc)

I am pretty free to travel these days and I have been traveling quite often in the United States and in North America ( mainly Canada and USA) because of my work as a North America Regional Bitcoin Mining Farms Site Manager. I have no conflicts of interest, or time allocation problems. I don’t work from Starbucks coffee shops, but sometimes I do some work at the airport coffee shops and inside the airplanes while I am traveling.

Question 3) What is your least favorite thing right now with our DAO in its current state?

In my opinion, the least favorite thing that I see and I believe is that there are less than 100 people working for the ApeCoin Foundation.

We need many many more People to join the ApeCoin DAO, such as Special Council members as well as Administrators. Maybe we could have Special Council member teams at the ApeCoin DAO for different type of task forces to facilitate global adoption and development with a tenure term of 2 years instead of 1 year term.

Also, we can elect 10 Special Council members to join the ApeCoin DAO out of the 44 candidates pool instead of 3.

Question 4) What is a Koda?

This is my favorite thing or character to explain to people, especially to kids! Koda is like the character in the movie or a person in your dream, could be yourself.

Let’s say while you are sleeping and you are actually dreaming about something scary… say “dinosaurs are running and getting too close to you, and they are about to run over you”, but in your dream you can imagine turning yourself into a Koda so that you have all the magical abilities and power to do anything you want without any limitations.”

So what you are going to do? You just need to imagine you turn yourself into a Koda and fly up to the sky in one second. Guess what? Now you are flying in the air and looking down and seeing all the dinosaurs are running away from volcano erupting in Hawaii.

Now you can still keep enjoying your dream instead of so scared and waking up certainly! So that’s what Koda is!

Koda is an imaginary character champion with lots of power abilities and no limitations. Koda can make things happen, e.g. Koda can dive into the Hawaii volcano lava flowing into the ocean and looking for unmelted Diamonds! That’s the kind of imagery games kids like playing!
