Using the power of transformative digital ownership, I feel that we have an opportunity to build public goods that can benefit everyone, so I wanted to have a targeted discussion on what kind of public goods the DAO could build.
Obviously “donate to charity” can be part of anything we build, but we should think bigger than that.
One (meta) idea I had was to start a Public Good Sub-DAO, funded by the ApeCoin DAO.
Every ApeCoin holder can vote on proposals, but it would use a separate Snapshot proposal system focused on smaller, more efficient charitable/public good proposals. The ApeCoin DAO could vote on the Sub-DAOs budget in the main voting area, and decide over time if the Sub-DAO was worthy of continued funding.
