iPFi - Premier IP Rewards Protocol for All ApeChain IP HoldersX

TEAM DESCRIPTION:

Our team is led by Aaron Guyett, CTO with deep blockchain expertise (LinkedIn), and Jayde Herrick, CEO driving Web3 community engagement (@jaydeherrick_).

Together, we’ve built a working prototype for iPFi, a protocol to reward ApeChain IP holders. With years of experience in blockchain development, legal frameworks, and marketing, we’re passionate about empowering the ApeCoin ecosystem with a new way for Yuga Labs and ApeChain creators to profit beyond speculation.

PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION:

iPFi is a Web3 protocol built on ApeChain—the world’s most advanced blockchain—to reward all ApeChain IP holders, including Yuga Labs’ iconic BAYC, MAYC, and Otherside communities, plus other ApeChain creators.

Unlike hype-driven trading, iPFi lets holders monetise their IPs through on-chain licenses, creating a sustainable income stream. We request $120,000 USD (in $APE) to launch iPFi in 3 months, covering development, legal contracts, ApeChain integration, and marketing via our questing platform to ignite the ApeCoin elite.

App features:

  • IP Holder Rewards: Holders opt-in to share IPs (e.g., BAYC apes, Otherside lands, ApeChain NFTs) via modular smart contracts, setting terms (exclusivity, duration), and earning rewards from license sales.

  • License Purchases: Users buy licenses or derivative assets on-chain, earning when IPs are used or resold, boosting ApeCoin usage.

  • On-Chain Licenses: Transparent, verifiable contracts on ApeChain, adjustable for holder flexibility.

  • Physical Assets: Support for tokenised ApeChain collectibles, with validation in progress for trust.

  • Reward Payouts: Holders and buyers claim pool rewards; any user can harvest (covering gas), but only eligible parties profit.

  • Questing Platform: Gamified campaigns to engage ApeCoin’s top-tier community with rewards.

Currently, ApeChain holders rely on speculation for value. iPFi offers a protocol to profit directly from their IPs’ cultural and economic power, amplifying ApeChain’s dominance and ApeCoin’s prestige.

BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM:

iPFi elevates ApeCoin’s elite status by making it the currency of choice for IP licensing on ApeChain, driving 100,000 APE in transactions. It empowers all ApeChain IP holders—starting with Yuga’s BAYC/MAYC/Otherside legends—to earn rewards, strengthening community wealth like AIP-555’s branding success.

Our questing platform will aim to spark 10,000+ users and millions of X impressions, hyping ApeCoin’s dominance.

As iPFi grows, it will attract Web3 creators to ApeChain, expanding ApeCoin’s reach, similar to AIP-455’s ecosystem boost.

DEFINITIONS:

  • iPFi: A protocol for ApeChain IP holders to share licenses and earn rewards via a bonding curve.

  • ApeChain IP Holders: All creators on ApeChain, including Yuga Labs (BAYC, MAYC, Otherside) and others.

  • Bonding Curve: A pricing model rewarding early adopters.

  • Questing Platform: A gamified tool for community engagement.

STEPS TO IMPLEMENT:

  • Marketing & Development Kickoff

    • Duration: 1 month (May 2025)

    • Activities: Launch marketing via X and questing platform, targeting 10,000 users by May, 2025. Finalise smart contracts and ApeChain integration (30% complete).

    • Budget: $40,000 USD (in $APE)

  • Platform Completion & Testnet

    • Duration: 1 month (June 2025)

    • Activities: Complete platform, test physical asset validation, launch testnet for Yuga and ApeChain holder feedback.

    • Budget: $40,000 USD (in $APE)

  • Mainnet Launch

    • Duration: 1 month (July 2025)

    • Activities: Go live on ApeChain mainnet, onboard all IP holders, and sustain marketing with questing rewards.

    • Budget: $40,000 USD (in $APE)

The project will be fully implemented by July 31, 2025, with ongoing support to ensure holder rewards and platform stability.

REPORTING EXPECTATIONS:

We’ll provide weekly updates on our public GitHub and weekly posts on the AIP forum, sharing progress on development, testnet, and holder onboarding. A feedback form will collect community input. Reporting will span the 3-month development phase and continue for 3 months post-launch (through October 2025) to ensure iPFi runs smoothly, with extensions if the community requests.

Total amount requested from the ApeCoin Ecosystem Fund = $120,000 USD (in $APE, converted at market rate upon approval).

      • Finalize platform UI and features.

      • Test physical asset validation system.

      • Launch testnet for community feedback.

      • Front-end/back-end development: $25,000

      • Testing/QA: $10,000

      • Technical support: $5,000

  • Mainnet Launch: $40,000 USD (in $APE)

    • Duration: 1 month (July 2025)

    • Activities:

      • Deploy iPFi on ApeChain mainnet.

      • Onboard all IP holders.

      • Sustain marketing and questing rewards.

      • Mainnet deployment: $15,000

      • Legal/contract finalization: $10,000

      • Marketing/engagement: $10,000

      • Audits/contingency: $5,000

Proposed Funding Tranches:

  • Marketing & Development Kickoff: $40,000 USD (in $APE, upon approval)

  • Platform Completion & Testnet: $40,000 USD (in $APE, one month after first tranche)

  • Mainnet Launch: $40,000 USD (in $APE, one month after second tranche)

SUCCESS METRICS:

  • Holder Adoption: 500 ApeChain IP holders (Yuga’s BAYC/MAYC/Otherside + others) and 1,000 license purchases by July 2025.

  • ApeCoin Usage: 100,000 APE in iPFi transactions, fueling ApeChain growth.

  • Community Buzz: 10,000+ questing platform users, 1 million+ X impressions hyping ApeCoin’s dominance.

  • Holder Rewards: $10,000 USD distributed to ApeChain holders and questing participants, proving iPFi’s edge over speculation.
