WebSlinger will receive a monthly remuneration of $75,000 for service as an administrator to the Ape Foundation. 75% of the salary will be in USDC stablecoin while the remaining 25% will be paid in ApeCoin.
The ApeCoin DAO appears have no leadership in place and just passed the responsibilities to outside 3rd party service provider. The DAO could have hire 5-7 people to do the same job, but I guess the ApeCoin lack of trust managing its own employees or personnel!

The ApeCoin DAO gives direction to the foundation. So in terms of the current leadership, the token holders give direction to the Ape Foundation, including it’s various actors.
Regarding the ApeCoin DAO voting to elect an administrator based in the Cayman Islands, any eligible vendors could have sent in a proposal through this process. This request for proposal outlines reduced responsibilities and cost for the elected administration (WebSlinger), when compared to the previous admins (Cartan).
One of the immediate results of this is that the upcoming working group structure will be taking up responsibilities that the previous administration was executing (Discourse moderation for instance).
There are not currently any members in the community who have organized an organization which would have been eligible to submit a proposal to execute on the request, but that could change in the future.
