The founders of several solid projects such as Sablier, Axal, and Si3 reached out to me stating that they’re unable to connect their wallets in order to post on forum. They all have AIP Drafts that they would like to share with the community, but are unable to post on forum, because the wallet connect feature is not working properly, and they all own $APE in the wallet that they’re connecting. This needs to be fixed asap!
Also, my friends over at Hats Protocol, one of my favorite DAO tools; they specialize in bringing roles onchain, which can be revoked due to inactivity. They are lead by some of the top devs in the Ethereum space such as Spencer Graham, and Hats Protocol is interested in partnering with us as well, and I want to make sure that they can submit their AIP Draft soon.
Gm Jaris! Discourse is currently working on development as it relates to ApeCoin on Ethereum Mainnet and ApeCoin on ApeChain. We are pushing the Discourse team to fast track this fix as we speak.
In the meantime, as you may know there is also a MetaMask wallet connection option, which appears to be fully operational, if that’s an consideration for these project founders.
Else, they may feel free to reach out to us directly, and we would be happy to work with them on developing their AIPs in the meantime.
Thanks @Chris.Admin. I decided to to send some $APE to another wallet I own and created a new forum account as well to test this out for myself. At first, I received a notification given a false statement that the metamask wallet didn’t have any $APE, I tried a few more times, and then just decided to hard refresh the page and then it showed up as connected.
The experience is a bit buggy, but it does work, so I’ll let the project founders know that they can rest assured that they can link their wallets. I appreciate the swift response, have a great day.
