When ApeChain in the main menu of ApeCoin.com website ?

APECHAIN in the main menu of apecoin.com website

TEAM DESCRIPTION:

Hello everyone, my name is Dyorjadore alias DrJDR.

I am part of the French Ape Yacht Club.
I am proud to have initiated the creation of one of the first local community delegations within the DAO.

I am part of the Thankape board, which aims to reward members for their participation/contributions in the apecoin ecosystem.

:cowboy_hat_face:On a personal level, I developed my MBA which is YEEHAW, a fashion accessories brand and also a partner of events, particularly in motorsport.

Don’t hesitate to have a look at my website http://yeehawandco.com and feel free to contact me on Twitter : x.com

PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION:

I have always considered ApeCoin to be oxygen in the world of Apes. It is normal to be particularly interested in it, especially when you are an Ape…

Of course, not only that… especially with the launch of apechain and the possibility for everyone to develop and build.

I find it regrettable that the apechain.com website (which is very successful) is not integrated into the menu of the apecoin.com website.

  • ApeChain is nothing without ApeCoin…

  • ApeCoin is not much without ApeChain…

Now that the two are united, the minimum would be for this to be better highlighted on the official apecoin.com website, particularly within the navigation menu.

BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM:

ApeCoin x ApeChain > ApeCoin + ApeChain

DEFINITIONS:

ApeChain : ApeChain is a dedicated infrastructure layer to power the ApeCoin ecosystem. ApeChain utilizes $APE as its native gas token. This integration significantly enhances $APE’s utility, fostering a robust and dynamic economy driven by $APE, and positioning ApeChain as a premier platform.

ApeChain at its core is an Arbitrum Orbit chain.

OVERALL COST:

Total amount requested from the ApeCoin Ecosystem Fund = 0

Instead, the proposal requests that the Ape Foundation would implement the proposed update to the apecoin.com navigation menu as soon as possible.

——————-

In the same kind of subject, it’s a shame not to see a page dedicated to ApeCoin x Alpine F1 Team which could also be integrated into the main navigation menu…

May be the subject of a future AIP depending on what is planned in terms of the new apecoin.com website (which seems to me to have been planned :crossed_fingers:)

Makes sense to me. Interesting you brand is Yeehaw sounds very Bullish.

Hi @dyorjdr ,

The community feedback period for your proposal would be ending in roughly 24 hours.

  • If you’re content with the feedback received, your next steps are to finalize your proposal using the AIP Draft Template.

  • A moderator will reach out to the author to finalize the AIP Draft. Upon receipt of the final Draft, we will review and provide instructions on the next steps.

  • Are you ready to proceed to the next phase or do you wish to extend community discussion for another 7 days?

We look forward to hearing from you.

Thought is a must to have

Something like this really doesn’t need a proposal. It’s just inefficient to keep having to do this. Which is why I was happy that my Discourse proposal didn’t go that route. Read more at AIP-497: Restore Elections Data Visibility @AllCityBAYC

I agree with you, and thanks for your AIP

There has got to be a better way of facilitating (accepting & processing) genuine requests for changes to our website.

Let’s just roughly tally up all the time & cost wasted with our current “system”:

  1. Community member has to write an AIP idea.
  2. Idea then needs to sit on forum for 7 days (could be extended further ofc).
  3. Facilitators then need to review and ask questions - backwards and forwards via DMs.
  4. An AIP number is then added if ok and the wait begins.
  5. The AIP enters the unknown “darkness” - as it’s reviewed by SC & possibly legal. (Some known to never see the light of day again.)
  6. Then in no logical order the AIP makes it to vote (God willing). Randomised to stop cheating/gaming of the voting system. :man_shrugging:
  7. We then vote over (an agonising) 2 week period.
  8. If the AIP passes then we all wait for implementation - old age may take us first. :grimacing:

So even at the very best, (and I mean if everyone pulls together and review is super speedy), we are looking at a minimum of 1.5 months just to get to the vote outcome for a simple website addition of our already community approved apechain.

Also how many more additional months may be added to this timeline as we await the implementation? :man_shrugging:

This is a process which needs a radical overhaul asap.

Thanks
