- Is the Ape Foundation expected to engage in any of the steps of the AIP implementation? If so, please specify the steps and elaborate on how it is expected to work.
We welcome the Ape Foundation’s feedback and ideas but it is not mandatory for the implementation of this project. The foundation’s role primarily centers around providing valuable input and insights once the analysis is done.

Once deliverables (1) and (2) are prepared, an initial draft will be shared on the forum, initiating a community discussion focused on the analysis and its implications. Subsequently, the DeepDAO team will arrange a session with the Special Council to delve deeper into the proposal’s implications. With the valuable inputs received, we will finalize the report, marking the completion of all deliverables.
The forum discussion will provide an inclusive platform for community members to ask questions, share insights, and collectively arrive at a consensus regarding the most suitable course of action based on the data analysis. Additionally, we are open to establishing a dedicated Discord channel or Telegram group to facilitate information exchange and foster further collaboration.
If there is mutual interest expressed by the community and the council to engage DeepDAO as a consultant for implementing specific initiatives, we have the option to explore this possibility.
- Are there any potential privacy concerns or data protection measures considered during the analysis process?
During the analysis process, there are no potential privacy concerns or data protection measures to consider. DeepDAO ensures that it does not collect any personally identifiable data or any data that is not already publicly available.
- What are the key results which have been identified for your project?
We envision the project to help a DAO greatly.
For example, let’s consider the scenario where out of the 120k+ $APE holders, we identify 10k individuals highly interested in public goods, 8k individuals on education and research, 5k individuals involved in identity solutions, and 2k individuals dedicated to media and communications. With this information, ApeCoin DAO can establish sub-DAOs or guilds, each with a yearly budget, to advance the ApeCoin community’s mission in these specific areas. For instance, the public goods group could fund and execute initiatives that align with your north stars, while the identity solution working group could develop a badge system to recognize and potentially incentivize DAO participation. The media & communications group could lead the PR efforts of the DAO.
By effectively leveraging the segmentation data, we can identify the most promising initiatives to focus on and also attract the right people to contribute their skills and expertise. ApeCoin will also be able to address the segments on their own channels, with a tailor made message that takes their interests to heart.
We’ll also note that one of the biggest reasons for decreasing DAO participation I’ve seen is the lack of contribution opportunities for members. This analysis will help the DAO start new initiatives, effectively increasing the number of opportunities for community members."
- How will the success of the proposed initiatives be measured and evaluated?
Some of the KPIs could be:
- Number of significant interest and activity categories segments identified (short term)
- Number of actionable insights in the analysis (short term)
- Number of new initiatives (working groups, sub-DAOs etc.) formed (medium term)
- Increase in governance participation (long term)
- Upon completion, how will the analysis report be shared with the community?
The report will be shared on the forum. The csv files will be shared with the Council and distributed at its discretion. We will also share a standalone version of the report through DeepDAO’s social media and PR efforts.
