When I came to this community, I called this a forum for some days until someone said to me that this is not meant to be called “forum” but “discourse”… It’s a good idea tho

Discourse is the name of the software that this forum is built from!
That’s why it’s called discourse.
In fact there a lot of personalization that can be done because of that.

I hate it too, but I think the idea is that we simply “like” a post if we agree with it or like it, and reserve posting to more interesting things than “yes”. I assume that’s the idea?
Not sure how good this is playing out in practice, though.
