Hi ApeCoin DAO Community,
@Ape_PaperCraft has responded to our questions and has provided consent to share them in this forum for the community.
1. Is the Ape Foundation expected to engage in any of the steps of the AIP implementation? If so, please specify the steps and elaborate on how it is expected to work.
The Ape Foundation can offer assistance in two ways, provided they align with your preferences:
1- Physical Distribution at Face-to-Face Conferences: Ape Foundation can receive all physical copies for distribution during in-person conferences. Attendees can obtain a papercraft as a form of merchandise at these events. That’s our preference.
2- Distribution with a Special Focus: If the above option is not feasible, we propose an alternative approach. Instead of a first-come, first-served online giveaway, we suggest considering it as a token of appreciation for those community members actively engaged in the DAO, consistently providing feedback month after month.
2. a.) How do you plan to distribute the digital version of the product?
The digital version of the papercraft can be distributed through two distinct channels:
1- Dedicated Website: We can establish a dedicated website where users can easily access and download the digital papercraft file.
2- Social Media: We can leverage social media platforms, via an X account, to notify both current Ape members and those who have not yet joined the Ape community about the availability of the file. The file can be hosted on platforms such as Google Drive or IPFS for accessibility. Furthermore, we will implement engagement strategies to maximize outreach and ensure that the file reaches as many people as possible. We believe this approach offers the optimal solution for distribution.
b.) Will you be requiring holders to connect to a particular platform to claim, and if so what app will you be using?
No.
c.) What are the plans for security audits of the platform?
No need as we will not require this connection.
3. a.) How do you plan to distribute the physical version of the product?
This has already been addressed in the first question.
b.) Will you require users to provide any personal information during the claim of the physical version?
Face to face is not required. Online distribution will require personal information to send the package.
c.) If personal information is collected, how will this information be secured?
Limited Access: Only us (Gemma and Marc) will have access to the collected personal information. This restricted access minimizes the potential for unauthorized access or data breaches.
Data Deletion: Once the collected personal information has served its purpose (e.g., for product delivery), it will be promptly and securely deleted. This deletion process will be thorough to ensure that no residual copies of the data remain.
4. You’ve modified your original proposal’s Overall Cost to reflect the change in the price of $APE since your original submission. Will you require a specific dollar amount of $APE to be paid when the grant is issued?
We think that the first amount 39991,85$= 7398,15$ is a fair compensation.*
5. Would your expectation be to keep complete ownership of content produced from this proposal?
We agree to grant the DAO complete ownership of the digital papercraft. However, we request that the DAO respects the following terms:
1- Limitation on Commercial Use: we think that other than the DAO no one should have the commercial rights to sell the digital papercraft.
2- Collaboration for Future Editions: In the event that a second edition of the physical papercraft is considered, we express our willingness to collaborate with the DAO.
6. Do you provide consent to share these questions and answers with the community in this forum?
Yes.
A DAR package is being worked on and upon completion this AIP will move into Administrative Review. Follow this Topic as further updates will be posted here in the comments.
Kind Regards,
