This AIP, if passed, would simply afford Working Groups the flexibility to author their budget proposals for up to 1 year, regardless of whichever Funding Window they choose.

This makes 100% senes

1. During the community feedback period, you mentioned “A Working Group could very well request a multi-year budget, the DAO would just expect that budget proposal to be published on the forum within a funding window so that there is still some predictability and structure to it.” However, this AIP “would simply afford Working Groups the flexibility to author their budget proposals for up to 1 year”.

2. Please elaborate on your expectations for how this would work, and how it differs from the current process.

No change in how it works. It would be similar to the GWG’s last budget, which was proposed for 6 months, but managed to last 8.

Yes

The AIP implementation is administered by the Ape Foundation. Implementation may be immaterially or materially altered to optimize for security, usability, to protect APE holders, and otherwise to effect the intent of the AIP. Any material deviations from an AIP, as initially approved, will be disclosed to the APE holder community.
