Hi guys! Before writing my first AIP, I would like to discuss with you the topic of opening a Web3 University. I’m interested in your thoughts. In the prop house, I outlined briefly how it should work. The AIP will be formed more and more clearly. If the guys from Boring Security join this with their experience, it will be great.
Briefly, the proposal refers to the opening of a university with the training of Web3 specialists in various fields divided into groups, with mandatory attendance and exams, followed by the issuance of diplomas in the SBT token format.
It is planned to start with a discord server and subsequently move to its own site with personal accounts of students and teachers, etc.

I think it could be a good idea, as more and more people are becoming interested in web3. If APE becomes the first to open a school like this, it will be seen as a reference.

I think we can cover all the specialties needed for the Web3 world, we can create a training program that starts with general knowledge and gradually add narrowly focused specialties. Just as they teach in educational institutions Web2. In any case, the study program requires competent compilation by those who are well versed in this and have experience.
It would be great if the official Apecoin Discord server dedicated a section for this.
The same as the diplomas that we receive after graduation - proof of graduation in one direction or another.

Yeah… Learn and teach could be next future in therm of growing audiences. Think about opencampus and animoca investment on educational system. By that way start more and more stuff

I like it. But keep in mind that opening an educational institution, even in Web3, is not easy. It’s not just about opening a discord server. Either way, I’ll be interested to see where this leads.

@Russell I like your idea. Education, in a good way, should be systematic - regular and go according to a certain plan. Many in Web 3 are enthusiasts, without pedagogical experience, so it is important to build such a system so that the material arrives in a logical chronology, is relevant and understandable to everyone.
To go through all this alone is very difficult and long, not everyone reaches the end. APU University will be a great solution for the entire web 3 community

I think this is a great project. It should be more global, the funding that is provided is clearly not enough for full implementation. Of course, everything depends on the scale that @Russell sees in the future
A well-developed educational program will be required. It would be good to organize a system of personal mentors, conducting joint streams and video tutorials
It will be great if a graduate after graduation will have a personal portfolio of projects built on the integration of $APE in each direction. Possible employment assistance from the university and the DAO
As a result, we will get a community of like-minded people who share ideas, inspire, create projects and even look for employees. This will allow APE University graduates to determine the future of web3 themselves

This would undoubtedly be beneficial both for a potential student of the University, for the University itself, and for the DAO too.
