TEAM DESCRIPTION:

The Asia Web3 Alliance Japan team, led by Hinza Asif, includes dedicated professionals and advisors committed to the growth and success of the Alliance. The team is seeking funding to further the mission of fostering Web3 innovation and collaboration in the Asian region. We have 16+ Subcommittees, 56+ Board Members in which 20 will start their duty from 1st Nov 2023.

At inception, we cast our net wide, uniting voices from 48 diverse countries. Our global reach and collaborative spirit amplify the Asia Web3 Alliance’s influence, fostering a dynamic cross-border exchange of ideas, innovation, and opportunities.

ABSTRACT:

This proposal outlines the strategic collaboration between the ApeCoin ecosystem and Asia Web3 Alliance Japan (AWAJ), a General Incorporated Association governed by international board members. AWAJ’s primary objective is to support and empower blockchain and Web3 technologies, specifically within Japan, fostering innovation, collaboration, and representation of international entities in the Japanese blockchain ecosystem. This proposal seeks to secure funding to enable this partnership, strengthen ApeCoin’s position in Japan, and align with ApeCoin’s core mission of advancing Web3 technology globally.

BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM:

By supporting Asia Web3 Alliance Japan, the ApeCoin community will contribute to a pivotal bridge connecting Asia’s vibrant Web3 ecosystem with the dynamic business landscape of Japan. This aligns with ApeCoin’s core mission of fostering Web3 innovation and collaboration worldwide. Additionally, this partnership provides ApeCoin with an invaluable entry point into Japan’s strong IP content sector.

In line with our focus on field activities and leveraging Japan’s strong foundation in IP content, Asia Web3 Alliance Japan is strategically collaborating with various prefectures to promote and support IP content initiatives. Japan’s government has consistently championed the growth of IP content, and we aim to harness these efforts for the benefit of the ApeCoin ecosystem.

Our initiatives span across multiple prefectures, including Shibuya, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, Kashikabe, Chiba, Takesato, Hokkaido, and several others. By establishing a presence in these regions, we ensure that the ApeCoin ecosystem can effectively tap into Japan’s IP content landscape, furthering our mission to promote Web3 innovation and collaboration.

This collaborative approach aligns with our commitment to strengthening ApeCoin’s position in the blockchain and Web3 ecosystem and fostering fruitful alliances with local authorities and entities across Japan.

PLATFORMS & TECHNOLOGIES:

At Asia Web3 Alliance Japan, we will establish innovative partnerships with City Governments, granting city offices the privilege of using Board Ape NFTs. This pioneering collaboration will hold immense promise and has the potential to set a precedent not only in Japan but also in other countries across Asia.

Our organization will place a strong emphasis on hands-on activities, capitalizing on Japan’s robust foundation in IP content and the unwavering support of the government for such endeavors. We will proactively engage with local authorities and organizations in key regions such as Shibuya, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, Kashikabe, Chiba, Takesato, Hokkaido, and other relevant areas, with the goal of establishing a formidable presence and fostering meaningful partnerships. Our initiatives will extend across multiple prefectures in Japan.

STEPS TO IMPLEMENT & TIMELINE:

Asia Web3 Alliance Japan has actively commenced its strategic initiatives to collaborate with renowned entities. By December 2023, we will have established a significant presence in Japan, including various government sectors, to extend robust IP support. Furthermore, we are leveraging our partnerships in the NFT space to promote the growth of the Web3 ecosystem. As part of our expansion plan, we will host our first board member meeting in February 2024, convening 56 prominent individuals, including government delegates.

STEPS TO IMPLEMENT & TIMELINE:

  • Establish collaborations with local authorities in multiple Japanese prefectures by December 2023.
  • Initiate the integration of ApeCoin within the Japanese IP content landscape by [When Grant Receive].
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to advance ApeCoin’s presence in the Japanese blockchain ecosystem by [start after the grant approval].
  • Foster partnerships with local entities to accelerate ApeCoin adoption in Japan by [it will be ongoing activity till Dec 2024].
  • Leverage the support and connections offered by Asia Web3 Alliance Japan to maximize the impact on ApeCoin’s ecosystem.

With a proactive timeline and a dedicated team, we aim to elevate the ApeCoin ecosystem’s prominence in Japan, strengthening its position as a leading force in the Web3 and blockchain space.

OVERALL COST:

To ensure the successful execution of our initiatives, we require the following resources:

  1. Two Bored Ape NFTs - These NFTs will be allocated with specific usage rights to the Kasukabe and Shibuya city offices, as well as other relevant promotional departments. The estimated cost for securing these NFTs will be as current price.
  2. Board Member Contributions - We anticipate the participation of five esteemed members from the ApeCoin community as board members, each contributing a support fee of $50,000/-. The collective support fee is estimated to be $250,000/-.
  3. Operational Expenses - Membership fee Including infrastructure setup, legal compliance, marketing initiatives, and ongoing administrative requirements.

The total budget outlined above is crucial for the successful implementation and sustainability of our strategic goals.

FUND ALLOCATION:

The allocation of membership funds plays a pivotal role in advancing our mission and bolstering our position as a leading force in the Blockchain & Web3 ecosystem. These funds will be strategically utilized as follows:

  1. Media Impact - A substantial portion of the funds will be dedicated to creating a significant media presence, raising awareness of our initiatives, and showcasing the expertise of our esteemed board members. This will enhance our visibility and influence, fostering a dynamic ecosystem and collaboration among stakeholders.
  2. Highlighting Board Members - Your contributions will enable us to spotlight the achievements and contributions of our esteemed board members. By highlighting their roles and expertise, we aim to enhance their recognition and influence in the industry.
  3. Arranging High-Profile Meetings - The funds will be employed to organize meetings and events with high-profile individuals and government agencies. These interactions will facilitate collaboration, the exchange of insights, and initiatives that drive positive change within the ecosystem.
  4. Lobbying Activities - A portion of the funds will support lobbying efforts to advocate for the interests and expertise of our board members effectively. This ensures that their contributions and expertise are leveraged for profitable activities and initiatives.
  5. Hosting Seminars and Events - The allocation will also be used to arrange seminars and events that provide valuable networking opportunities and insights for our members. These gatherings will foster collaboration and innovation in the Blockchain & Web3 ecosystem.
  6. Investment Support for Start-ups - As part of our commitment to advancing blockchain and Web3 technologies across Asia, we are pleased to introduce the “Investment Support for Start-ups” program. This initiative aims to foster innovation and growth within the start-up ecosystem.

Our fund allocation strategy aligns with our core mission of promoting Web3 innovation and collaboration, empowering board members, and strengthening the ApeCoin ecosystem in partnership with local authorities and entities across Japan.

Thank you so much for your reply. Asia Web3 Alliance Japan is the first Japanese entity to support international Web3 projects in Japan. Through this platform, our board members and members can directly engage with the Government Web3 Promotions Department to promote NFTs and IP, which are among our key agendas.

We’ve already discussed the IP plans with over 12 city offices. Currently, we’re in the phase of nominating board members and finalizing our plans. We intend to take the initiative as soon as we receive confirmation from your side.

I wanted to better understand how the project would bring more members and knowledge of web3 to new members joining the apecoinDAO community, it would be more to promote the brand, right?
Would you place any emphasis on the $APE token or just the BAYC/MAYC NFTs?

That is a very great proposal. The idea of connecting Ape DAO with the Asian region is really perspective. Also, I loved the deliverables.

But can You please clarify some of the benefits/deliverables with numbers/key metrics to understand in the correct way? Because the only numbers I saw were costs for APE DAO. To grant Your requested fund allocation, in my opinion, we have to know exactly how You’ll manage it.

1. Expanding into New Markets: By December 2023, we’re looking to partner up with local authorities in multiple Japanese regions. We’re aiming to connect Ape DAO with at least 8 different regions, each with its unique opportunities.

2. Integrating with IP Content: We’re actively working on getting ApeCoin into Japan’s IP content scene. As soon as we secure the grant, this integration begins and opens up doors for similar moves across Asia.

Damn, this detail is something we want to hear here. Sounds very promising. Have You already had some sort of plan or direction of it for this meeting?

But I still hesitate about the costs part. 250 000 $, as for me, is quite expensive.

Also, what plans do You have for maintaining this connection? Will You need some more funds allocation in a while? Or once launched and funds granted You’ll operate all by Yourself?
