Abstract Summary: eComm platforms including Shopify are currently limiting adoption of $APE by not supporting it as a displayed currency on products. This proposal presents the idea that the Forever Apes team develop a custom built plugin to address this issue and facilitate the integration of $APE into the displayed currency on Shopify product pages. This plugin will be available to retailers at NO COST and will immediately enhance the platform’s functionality, while increasing visibility and encouraging wider adoption amongst their 2 million plus DAU. We’re choosing to build this plugin on Shopify but recognize it caters to a mostly North American audience, we will expand the plugin’s availability to other eComm platforms once demand is proven.

Unbelievable, that the DAO payed 25k for it :joy:
I made my own plugin, to display ApeCoin on the product page.
In less then an hour.

Why I did my own? The official Plugin wasn’t working fully, and displayed me the wrong exchange rate of ApeCoin to USD.

I love what Forever Apes does, but this one was a waste of funds for the DAO.

So this link works or doesn’t work? Or did it work before but now is depreciated? Trying to understand this @Allo . The plugin you made can we all use it? Is it private or open source?

BTW I do think this Lego idea was very creative. Nice if it could be made into pre made sets.

The link works, and installing into Shopify as well. The plugin just displays the wrong APE exchange rate. If this is being maintained, and fixed would be great considering the amount the DAO spent on it.

My plugin is closed source, but if a shop owner wants it they can reach out anytime. Already installed mine for a few MBA that have a Shopify shop running.
