Over the past three years, I have led Atlas Corp, an agency specializing in metaverse and smart contract development. My tenure has involved collaborations with notable brands including Jagermeister, Bulova, KB Home, and the USGA, focusing on creating immersive 3D events and activations. Additionally, I spearheaded the creation of a freemium analytics platform now widely used by Decentraland developers for measuring key performance indicators across their scenes. Prior to running the agency, I founded and operated a Bitcoin and Crypto co-location mining company called The Miners’ Union from 2016-2019 with locations in South Florida and Idaho.

Concise statement on why you are running for the Metaverse Working Group
I am running for the Steward of the Metaverse Working Group to leverage my extensive experience in metaverse development and analytics. My background in leading Atlas Corp and actively participating in the Decentraland DAO has equipped me with a deep understanding of the metaverse landscape. I am committed to applying my technical expertise and strategic vision to drive growth towards the ApeCoin brand through the Metaverse Working Group.

Details on your motivation for becoming a Metaverse Working Group Steward
My motivation to become a Steward of the Metaverse Group is rooted in a profound belief that the metaverse and virtual reality applications are the eventuality of human connections across the internet. This role offers me a unique chance to both deepen my understanding of the metaverse and actively participate in sculpting its future.

Share relevant experience and skills that will bring value to the ApeCoin community
My experience extends beyond my role at Atlas Corp, having been deeply involved with the Decentraland DAO. This involvement includes a significant period as the largest delegate, guiding community sentiment around proposals. My commitment to decentralization and belief in the efficacy of DAOs, especially with active participation from voting power holders, has been a constant in my web3 journey.
My interactions with DCL DAO are that of a voter and grant beneficiary, receiving multiple development grants over several years. These grants have been instrumental in developing and hosting vital metaverse infrastructure, including operating Decentraland’s only fully accessible archival node. I am also an active contributor to the open source code and documentation repositories.
My expertise is not limited to Decentraland. I have also developed for platforms like Roblox, Fortnite, Unity, Hyperfy, and Cryptovoxels. Currently, I am collaborating with the Roblox sports partnership team on innovative applications for the platform.
Throughout the last few years, I gained tremendous experience in understanding how to interpret user interactions with metaverse applications. This is particularly important here so that the ApeCoin DAO doesn’t fall into the trap of developing or sponsoring 3d applications without a feedback loop. In the end of the day, we have goal of growing brand exposure, and we need to be able to report back on that to the DAO.
While my participation in the ApeCoin DAO has been limited, I attribute this to my focus on metaverse applications rather than a lack of interest in broader DAO activities. Joining the Metaverse Working Group, I aim to leverage my expertise in this niche, aligning with ApeCoin DAO’s goals and exploring integrations of ApeCoin across various platforms, extending beyond Otherside.
