Hi @Evil. Very cool proposal. Do you have any plan for ensuring that the APEjs package is incorporated by popular dApps? eg Metamask?

Hey Waabam! Ty for having a look at our proposal.
Honestly, cant say much about MM and other popular things like etherscan and more, but for sure this is in plan under marketing section.
Reaching out to not just wallets but marketplaces as well in order to integrate the package.
Sadly, cant ensure what the future holds but both dApps and centralized exchange is in our radar.

- The AIP says: “The stable price oracle inside of the ens repository will need to be maintained by the Ape Coin DAO these processes will be developed by Solidity.io 3.” Question: What does the DAO need to do to maintain the price oracle inside of the ENS repository?
- Author: " Solidity will develop the price oracle as well and the method to maintain the oracle however ape coin will be responsible for the long term maintenance as oracles go down sometimes. The ape.js package will have little to no per dependencies and work in every place that end does. "

- Author: To answer this, same as I’ve responded to the original thread by a community member. We’ll be reaching out to various wallets , both centralized and decentralized to make this happen under marketing only. This wont be limited to just exchanges and wallets but other popular medium like play2earn games and more. Also under 2. Maintenance and Deployement 's 3rd segment " Integrations Engineer " exist for the very same reason. That’s why we plan to have a dedicated engineer for such integrations itself.
- Are there any potential legal risks associated with the activities of this AIP?
- Author: Discussed with team, there seem to be no potential legal risk around this and the AIP.
- What are the Objectives and Key Results which have been identified for your project?
Author: Objectives are to use $ape as a mode of payment for primary payment across this dApp and whatever events that will follow. A minimum required number of $ape to mint the names, as well as secondary sales. It ultimately depends on the buyer and seller. Another objective is to make the name mass adopt by the current active community as well as the new audience that will start exploring web3 and crypto all together. A way where each user can identify each other.
Key results will include how $ape can act as a primary currency, be it during price fluctuation, demand and other factors. As of now there hasnt been any services that has $ape has the sole way of exchanging products.
- Please elaborate on the teams’ expectations for the future.
- Author: We expect and will work towards making APE extensions as name to be widely accepted by the community members within $ape and outside its ecosystem. I truly believe that .ape can become a mainstream name and domain service just like .com and .eth in both web2 and web3 environment.
- Is the Ape Foundation expected to engage in any of the steps of the AIP implementation? If so, please specify the step and elaborate how it is expected to work.
- Author: No.
- Have you or your team identified any additional financial, operational, or brand risks associated with this AIP?
- Author: We dont see any risk associated with this AIP as of now. Once pass, we will be working towards creating this as a brand of its own that came out of Apecoin DAO.
- Do you provide consent to share these questions with the community in this forum?
- Author: Yes
A DAR package is being worked on and upon completion this AIP will move into Administrative Review. Follow this Topic as further updates will be posted here in the comments.

Decent idea but way too expensive
Hey @secengjeff !
Would love to know how and why you think this can be too expensive?
Compared these too other projects that usually receive funding to create such things are fairly high, also when we as a team were creating a budget, I took reference to current competitive salaries and still deducted 10%-ish from the specific roles.
My reference was angel listings.

Implementation may be immaterially or materially altered to optimize for security, usability, to protect APE holders, and otherwise to effect the intent of the AIP.
