I second this. With BANANA just passing and ApeChain launch around the corner we should figure out the overall marketing strategy for ApeCoin/ApeChain before sinking funds into one off events.

1. Would your expectation be to keep complete ownership of content produced from this proposal?
The content produced in this proposal will be fully owned by My Token, with the exception of items physically produced for the activation booth in the “Benefit to ApeCoin Ecosystem” section, which will be owned by ApeCoin. If your reference is to content such as photos and videos, this can be shared content for ApeCoin.
2. As per the ApeCoin General Guidelines, “proposals will not be put up for vote if they involve illegal activity, hate speech, pornographic material, or are at odds with the mission or values of the APE Foundation.” Can you ensure that the content created for ApeCoin and MY Token, would be in keeping with these guidelines?

3. Several of your Steps to Implement indicate they would be completed no later than the end of July 2024.” Is there an alternative plan in place if this proposal does not successfully progress through the AIP process and receive grant disbursement by July 2024?
Yes, Milestone 1 & 2 inclusion of ApeCoin will be dragged forward, although missing some of our key marketing elements for the event, upon our proposal being successful, there are attributes in Milestone 2 & 3 which include productions and planning. These require commitment and assistance from ApeCoin and its stewards. Regarding the disbursements, as there are costs associated with the proposed activities, we hope to receive these no later than one month before the event. In summary, we can proceed with the work upon proposal approval, and the disbursements can be received slightly later.
4. Please revise your Team Description section, to include event partners, Songkrun and Zeus Events along with a brief history and previous experience.
We have revised our Team Description, incorporating both Exhibition & Music Festival’s event organizer’s description.
5. a) Your proposal states “ApeCoin DAO members will participate as speakers in panel discussions, workshops, or presentations”. Please provide proof of consent from The ApeCoin DAO Councils, Stewards, ApeChain spokesperson and speakers, and their willingness to cooperate in the implementation of this proposal, or alternatively, update the proposal to indicate an option for them to opt-in to participate. Otherwise, the proposal will be Rejected for violating the community guidelines.
The indication was set under Key Terms, Speaking Engagements, our intention was to provide opportunity, we will update this section as an option to opt-in.
b) If not already selected, how do you propose the APE Foundation nominate the ApeChain spokesperson, AIP authors, and other personnel required?
We suggest that within the APE foundation, a person/s who has full insights and knowledge of ApeCoin, along with the credibility to represent and convey information accurately. In regards to personnel for Milestone 1-3, preferably someone within a senior position in your foundation which has worked on events such as ours.
c) Would these positions include any compensation?
Our proposal is a sponsorship proposal, with attributes in lieu of the sponsorship. As the work required from these positions will be fairly nominal, no compensation is necessary. These roles would involve stewards/personnel from APE foundation providing guidance to achieve the deliverables.
6. Please provide proof from The Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board and their willingness to endorse ApeCoin DAO, pending the approval of this proposal.
The Tourism Board Of Malaysia letter to My Token is titled clearly, that any initiative and activities by My Token is endorsed and supported. Being a Title Sponsor gives ApeCoin the opportunity to equally be endorsed, ApeCoin’s presence, branding, marketing through My Token will also be driven through the Tourism Board. We can only work on this in detail once the proposed AIP-455 goes through. Rest assured they too are excited for this event and ApeCoin.

7. As per AIP-239, “Stewards may not receive compensation for their role as a Steward outside of that compensation expressly provided for in this AIP, or a Working Group Budget Proposal.” Can you please confirm that Yumi would not be receiving compensation for her efforts outlined in this initiative?
Based on our budget breakdown and request of sponsorship there is no intention to compensate any of ApeCoin Stewards.
8. a) Who would oversee and custody the tickets outlined in the ticket allocation?
The tickets allocation will be provided to ApeCoin, it is for ApeCoin to decide on who holds custody. Similarly if any company sponsors an event they will have a key personnel identified to oversee and be custodial.
b) How would the recipients of the 1 Speaker Pass, 4 VIP Passes, 30 MY Token Partner Passes for ApeCoin Members, 50 MY Token entrance passes, and 50 Music Festival Passes be selected?
This is a provided allocation to ApeCoin based on the benefits, they will be selected by ApeCoin.
c.) How would these be disbursed to the ApeCoin community?
ApeCoin will be required to provide us a list with emails and the type of tickets allocated, we will then send them the tickets digitally.
9. “MY Token leverages cutting-edge blockchain technology and digital platforms to facilitate seamless interactions”.
1. Would this event require guests to connect wallets?
In general no, because it doesn’t require you to be a holder of any project to gain access to the event, this will just limit the audience to an international exhibition and music event. However, we will have gamified experience in event where creating a wallet (for new users) / connecting wallet. This is yet to be decided and should have no impact on ApeCoin as a sponsor.
2. If so, what are the plans for security audits of the app?
In the case we do so above, it will be with a reputable partner which has a well established background.
10. Please provide additional details in your Overall Cost section, including a detailed breakdown of your hard costs, associated labour, ApeCoin awareness marketing initiative, and any associated expenses.
We are sorry but we cannot disclose our internal costing/expenses of My Token as a registered company in Malaysia, further than what was provided in the “Overall Breakdown” in AIP455 , they are categorized costs associated to the sections.
11. Will the music festival outlined in the proposal share the same dates and location as the MY Token event?
Yes it most probably should and would.
12. Do you have any estimated ticket costs for guests to access MY Token and the music festival?
Our ticketing cost has not been finalized, there is no sale for VIP Tickets, it is only to partners and sponsors, for regular tickets they will be priced between USD 50 - 100 making it affordable for everyone to be able to attend as the target is both Web2 & Web3 consumers giving higher access rate to the overall event and ApeCoin’s presence.
13. Your proposal states, “Upon confirmation of ApeCoin DAO’s participation, we will start communication and begin according to the “STEPS TO IMPLEMENT & TIMELINE.”, who do you propose would assist with this initial communication/planning?
Similarly as per your question above, a steward / personnel from ApeCoin as mentioned in our AIP 455.
14. Regarding your commitment to reporting, please Identify where the reports would be made available.
The reports will be made in PDF and sent across to ApeCoin in whichever way is suitable, and can be uploaded as well.
15. Would the MY Token team be responsible for oversight and quality control of the booth production, 30-second looping video, branding, and all other associated marketing materials created for ApeCoin?
Yes, with guidance from ApeCoin dedicated personnel, but the 30 sec video has to be provided it will not be produced.
16. Your proposal outlines dedicated pre-marketing Twitter/X announcements and AMA/Spaces, which account(s) would be hosting this content?
My Token Twitter account.
17. How will the overall success of this sponsorship be measured and evaluated?
Like any other sponsorship for events, the marketing value will be defined through the benefits implementation and execution and upon the event the total brand exposure and engagement will be calculated at perceived value. We will measure and evaluate your sponsorship based on key metrics such as event attendance, brand visibility (through those mentioned marketing initiatives), engagement at your booth or activation area, interactions with your sponsored activities (if any) , and the perceived value your brand creates among attendees.
18. Please provide a revision for your Steps to Implement section. As specified by the AIP Draft Template:

19. Please revise your Overall Cost section, as specified by the AIP Draft Template:

This proposal is live for vote on Snapshot. The voting period closes 13 days from now at 9PM EST.
The AIP implementation is administered by the Ape Foundation. Implementation may be immaterially or materially altered to optimize for security, usability, to protect APE holders, and otherwise to effect the intent of the AIP. Any material deviations from an AIP, as initially approved, will be disclosed to the APE holder community.

Any viable promotions will do; other than an mytokenasia Xsite with 4k followers.
Hope the foundation do some good due diligence on this one. Before handing over half a mill!
Just been on Yumi twitter and the image for the event has www.mytokenasia.com as the site address. This can be purchased from GoDaddy.
Is this for real? Will the big delegations sit back and just watch this happen, without question?
Alternatively @Witwit_81 please provide something to demonstrate that this event is happening and how it has been promoted? How many tickets have been sold and where can they be purchased?
