Hi ApeCoin DAO Community,
@SmartAPE has responded to our questions and has provided consent to share them in this forum for the community.
1. Please revise your Proposal Description to include the specific details you’ve highlighted in your Steps to Implement section. We are happy to help update this for you.
[Updated]
2. If this proposal were to pass, the “top ups” to pre-existing budgets that are proposed here would entail a potential funding commitment from the DAO. Please revise your Overall Costs section with this in mind.
Total amount requested from the ApeCoin Ecosystem Fund will be equal to whatever the “top-up” funds amount to.
3. Budgets from AIP-403 and AIP-404 have expired as of July 1, 2024, with the GWG budget from AIP-408 set to expire as of October 1, 2024. Would these expired budgets be eligible for a “top-up” under your Steps to Implement points #2 & #3 considering they do not account for the compensation of a third Steward in each Working Group?
Yes - they would be eligible for a “top-up” which would also include allocations for the third steward in each working group if/when those are elected at some point and a budget request made.
4. “Require that the Special Council provide budget funding (commensurate with the pre-existing budget amount for the Working Group) to the Working Groups in the event that a budget request is either delayed (e.g. Force Majeure) or in the event that it fails to pass at vote.” Does this suggest that Working Group budgets functionally need no longer be subject to the AIP process, if they would be funded regardless of community approval or not?
No. This condition is only in the event that a budget has already passed the community approval vote, but for whatever reason(s) the disbursement by the Ape Foundation is delayed. e.g. as I type this, it is my understanding that the passed budget for some Working Groups are yet to be disbursed.
5. Do you provide consent to apply updates to the relevant areas of your proposal based on your responses to the questions above?
Yes.
6. Do you provide consent to share these questions and answers with the community in this forum?
Yes.
