1. Do you have any estimated costs for users to use the platform’s features, or any premium features?
The platform usage for users will be entirely free. As outlined in the Revenue Streams section of the proposal, 3look will earn a commission from Social Tasks, with the fees being taken from users or brands that set these tasks. However, we are considering introducing premium features or memberships that could offer enhanced user experiences, such as advanced content creation tools, exclusive templates, or higher reward multipliers. These premium features would likely be priced in $3look tokens, and the pricing will be competitive to encourage broad participation.
2. “The platform automatically allocates rewards, retaining a fee from the total reward pool.” How are these fees calculated?
The fees will be calculated as a small percentage of the total reward pool allocated for each Social Task. This percentage will vary depending on the task’s specifics and will be transparently communicated to users and brands setting up the tasks.
3. Aside from “boosting a post with likes and shares or creating content using a specific template or asset,” are there other examples of “tasks” that users might be requested to complete to qualify for rewards?
In addition to boosting posts and creating content, we plan to include additional tasks such as: Participating in community challenges or contests where users create themed content. Engaging in platform-specific events designed to encourage interaction among users. Referral programs that reward users for bringing new participants to the platform.
4. “3look will track users’ progress and automatically reward them on-chain upon task completion.” Is this process to be automated, or conducted manually?
The reward distribution process will be fully automated through smart contracts on ApeChain. Given our plan to be a chain-agnostic platform, which accepts transactions on various blockchains and cryptocurrencies, all rewards and fees will be automatically converted or bridged to ApeChain without any manual intervention. This ensures seamless and efficient reward distribution.
5. Would any funding from this proposal be used to provide liquidity for $3look token?
No, the funding requested in this proposal will not be used to provide liquidity for the $3look token. The primary focus of these funds is on platform development to ensure a successful launch and ongoing growth. We are exploring other avenues to secure liquidity for the $3look token, ensuring that the proposal’s main objectives remain unaffected.
6. Regarding your Reporting Expectations, for how long do you plan for these reports to continue?
We are committed to providing regular reports for as long as the community deems necessary. Initially, we plan to offer detailed reports at each step as outlined in the “Steps to Implement” section of the proposal. Following that, we will continue to report quarterly or as requested by the community, ensuring transparency and keeping the DAO informed of our progress.
7. Given the costs involved in your proposal, the APE Foundation may establish fund disbursement in tranches should your AIP be accepted. In what amounts and on what schedule would you propose these tranched payouts be delivered?
To ensure smooth operations and timely progress, it would be ideal to allocate all funds upfront. However, we are flexible and open to receiving 50% of the funds as a first tranche, with the remaining 50% split over the next two months. This will allow us to make new hires and ensure that we stay on track without interruptions.
8. As per the ApeCoin General Guidelines, “proposals will not be put up for vote if they involve illegal activity, hate speech, pornographic material, or are at odds with the mission or values of the APE Foundation.” Can you ensure that the content on the 3look platform would be in keeping with these guidelines?
Yes, we are fully committed to ensuring that all content on the 3look platform adheres to these guidelines. We have moderation tools and content policies in place to prevent any content that could violate these standards from being published on the platform.
9. Regarding social media requests, the APE Foundation has introduced a social media request form to streamline the process of requesting tweets, retweets, and other social media activities. This form is currently accessible to approved AIP Authors, and requests would be considered at the discretion of the Ape Foundation.
Thank you for the information. We are aware of the form and will use it as needed.
