PROPOSAL DESCRIPTON

This proposal seeks to establish a partnership between the ApeCoin community and the Quandamooka-managed campsite on North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) in Australia. The collaboration will integrate Web3 technologies, including ApeCoin payments and NFT-based experiences, to promote Indigenous sovereignty, sustainable tourism, and cultural exchange. The initiative aligns with ApeCoin’s mission to foster innovation in culture, gaming, and commerce while supporting the Quandamooka people’s aspirations for economic independence and land stewardship.

  • Enhances ApeCoin’s utility in Australia through real-world applications like payments for camping services and ownership of tangible assets. ApeCoin holders can acquire fractional ownership or exclusive usage rights to Campsite facilities

  • Strengthens ApeCoin’s reputation in sustainable innovation by supporting eco-conscious projects.
  • Promotes community engagement through cultural programs and Web3 workshops.

Measurable Outcomes:

  • Onboard 5,000 new ApeCoin users through NFT memberships within 12 months.
  • Process $100,000+ worth of ApeCoin transactions in the first year.

  • Build ApeCoin payment integration system.
  • Develop NFT smart contracts for memberships and collectibles.
  • Set up gamified infrastructure for Geo-NFT hunts.
  • Cost: $50,000.

Phase 3: Marketing Campaigns (Months 6–7)

  • Launch global marketing campaigns targeting eco-tourists and Web3 users.

REPORTING EXPECTATIONS:

We commit to providing quarterly progress reports to the ApeCoin community via Discord and Snapshot forums. These reports will include:

  • Milestones achieved (e.g., technical development completed).
  • Funds spent per category.
  • Community impact metrics (e.g., number of ApeCoin transactions processed).

Progress reports will be submitted quarterly during the first year of the project to ensure transparency and accountability. Reports will include updates on milestones, KPIs, financial expenditures, and community feedback. Reporting will continue for one additional year post-launch to monitor ongoing performance and impact.

OVERALL COST:

Total amount requested from the ApeCoin Ecosystem Fund = $120,000

The following four funding tranches have been requested:

  1. Tranche 1 (30% = $36,000): Upon signing agreements with Quandamooka representatives and finalising the project roadmap (Month 2).
  2. Tranche 2 (40% = $48,000): Upon completion of technical development, including ApeCoin payment integration and NFT creation (Month 5).
  3. Tranche 3 (20% = $24,000): Upon launch of marketing campaigns and pre-launch events (Month 7).
  4. Tranche 4 (10% = $12,000): Post-launch after hosting the inaugural Web3 retreat and submitting the first progress report (Month 12).

Additional Requests to the APE Foundation:

  • Access to ApeCoin DAO’s community discussion platforms for promoting the initiative.
  • Technical support for integrating ApeCoin payments into the campsite booking system.
