I hope i can achieve attracting better proposals that will add back to the DAO. I am also bringing in an unbiased opinion that wont be swayed by whales or friends, but instead focus on the pros and cons of each AIP in terms of the value it can add to the DAO. by value i am not necessarily referring to monetary value, but more of a social perception value,
i will also achieve more awareness to the web 3 community about the DAO and hopefully bring in more qualified participants.
Hi @Raymond, I am asking all candidates the following same questions:
If elected, what is the one item you feel passionate about and would like to see accomplished during your tenure within the DAO?
What is an area of expertise that you will be bringing to the table?
Are there any factors in your life that may limit your time and ability to serve? (Running a business, extensive traveling, secret agent for the SEC, etc…)
What is your least favorite thing right now with our DAO in its current state?
Currently, many of the proposals are determined by large wallets, there are many grumblings about it though I stand neutral on this; if possible, would you change this? and if so, how and why?
Will you be an active participant in the DAO even if unelected?
One thing that I feel passionate about is my contribution to web 3, I want to be a positive force in the space that is struggling to maintain active participants. passing more DAO sustainable proposals that bring something back to the DAO, i also plan to accomplish awareness a a council member i will attend many spaces and be a voice for the council and keep the community up to date on voting and proposals
well its hard to be an expert in anything but i think i bring the ability to work well with a team and decipher information quickly, by having an NFT project i am neck deep in the day to day happenings in the web3 space . i also think i have the ability to bring people together and to work with people even we may not see eye to eye all for the benefit the the greater community
3.I do run a small architectural design business where I am the sole proprietor . I also Coach High School Softball In spring, but if elected I will prioritize the DAO as a main focus because I know the importance of all the people who have a stake in it and I am not doing it for only me but for the Ape coin community as a whole
4.My least favorite thing about the DAO is the perception that it is only available to BAYC holders, when in fact Apecoin belongs to all crypto enthusiasts and should be embraced as such. The second thing is a little more complicated and it is the DAO structure, And how 1 person can have so much influence, but I know there is pros and cons and I look forward to having discussions on this topic
5.I would change this if I found out there was a better way and the majority of the community was on board with it. As of now I think the for fathers of the DAO did it how they felt the Ape Coin DAO should be done, so if its left how it is then that’s fine too.i do understand It is important for the someone with 1 ape coin feels his vote matters just as much as anyone else’s, but this is complicated problem that shows up in many elections and if we can come up with a good resolution it would have a positive resonance of the DAO around the world
