What drew me to join initially was not only my fascination with blockchain technology but also my appreciation for how Yuga is building the “Otherside” and paving the way for a remarkable transformation all while being powered by Ape.
What makes me stay is the understanding that Yuga Labs and the larger community are collectively working towards building a future where the power lies in the hands of the people – the “apes.” This transformative vision, where ownership, creativity, and collaboration intersect, holds tremendous potential for empowering individuals and fostering a more inclusive and decentralized ecosystem.
Being part of this movement, surrounded by like-minded individuals who share this vision, is dope.

First of all, I like reading all the different thoughts and perspectives.
Second, it seems that once you post an idea, you get a lot of “free” input from intelligent people that companies even pay for.

My favorite part of ALL OF THIS has been getting to meet the AIP proposers who come with ideas. It’s interesting to meet them and learn about what they are doing. I really like grants & the way people share their stories and their plans to build bigger. That is what is fun to me! In general, web3 is full of all types, developers, good and bad people, crooks and choirboys, traders and speculators. Love it all

Thank you! Amazing! And yes everything gamified build by Yuga they spoke and mentioned many times that it will be powered and build on Apecoin. The amazing part is that its not just for the Apes! and not just even for new Yugalabs assets or marketplaces. Apecoin is literally for everyone !! and it was already shown in some game that was not build by Yuga and Use Apecoin as token-gate and also earning opportunities . Example: OtherWorld (PC, MAC) , Dropverse (app store iPhone)

I agree with you! You can gather very important market intel plus you can share it too! This is an amazing opportunity an platform to gather information that is truly valuable and difficult to find people like that anywhere else. People pay a lot of money to gather that Intel,

It is incredible to see people work on proposals and bring ideas input.
There is definitely all kind of individuals like everywhere on earth. Its upon all of us to protect us from bad actors, crooks and scammers with a long plan. It is also on us to sup[port amazing ideas and even collaborate and elevate good people up ! It is sad to see the copying proposals individuals trying to just fast grab from us instead of the original person who brought the idea.

I generally aim to maintain a positive outlook on most things. And I think you should do the same. It’s important that we welcome and invite others into this process, and show them WHY we enjoy it. Governance can be fun for some, tech development is fun for some, writing is fun for some. It’s important that we are friendly and inviting, open to new ideas, even if they have different implementation plans or approaches. We are getting new people which is amazing! I love hearing why people want to get involved & what they’d like to do to grow the space. Decentralized principles means room for many

Governance can be absolutely fun! I wish we had more things to vote on! Make its easier and fun!
We also can be more welcoming if more votes would be per wallet! And if we can bridge other chains!

Although I’ve been in the DAO for a bit on the voting side, my reason for finally creating a discourse profile and being active here is to do my part and assist in giving feedback to the authors of emerging AIPS.
I think a lot more of them would have found success if they got the necessary feedback earlier (prior to voting).
Hopefully with more active forum users we can see better growth as a DAO^^

Being honest, I really came here for the rewards, and now, Im getting to know this whole world of Web3 and APE DAO… Im learning how everything works here, how much info goes here, how a community can be so united! Love this! Saw somewhere that there will be a metaverse game with ape coin as the main currency. Is that right?

That’s what the rewards are for - to suck you in for long enough that you see all the other parts 
And yes, the game/metaverse environment is called Otherside.

Great point. So how now that you have a profile you bring this information and suggestion outside the forum? What would be your ideal approach if it were for you that feedback outside the forum or bringing somebody in?

There are several games partially already powered by Apecoin and sponsored by us: Dropverse(iPhone- you earn apecoin sometimes) & Otherworldly (on PC/MAC), some Yugalabs games that was temporal powered by apecoin too: DooKeyDash, Future Otherside (this part is unknown yet). Anyone can put the proposal to sponsor and power their game by apecoin. Cant wait to see more.

For me personally, I do my part with my infographic threads on twitter. I try to highlight current events & AIPS up to vote weekly to help with those who don’t have time to keep up on the daily. (But I have specifically highlighted the value of the discourse forums in my “Start here” thread 
)

It probably would help if as a community we promoted the new forum posts in a newsletter or informational thread (*nods at Vulkan)-- but I feel like that marketing is more on the authors if they want to see it succeed. I don’t feel like enough of them post about their ideas (with links to the forums) in it’s early stages, which also causes it to not find enough feedback & less over all success.
I think Marketing & Comms working group will aid in making better progress in the marketing vision/branding of the DAO, and also communication for giving people more of a spoon-fed highlight on twitter of the current events going on. I feel like this will help to make the DAO less intimidating over all and give people the confidence to be like 'I’m not late, I can jump in and participate" and also highlight the areas where to start based on the current events happening.
I feel like once people see the DAO as something that’s worth being passionate about, that’s when it will become more engaging with the greater web3 community.
That’s my hope at least^^

I’m glad to be here, I’m glad to be a part of DAO ApeCoin. I immediately begin to study the topics. It seems scary and difficult, but I will try to become useful. I expect productive interaction with other participants to create the future together, to become the strongest web3 community and to make the world friendlier, more comfortable and more cheerful through joint efforts and AIP projects
