Nomination Statement
I’m running for the ApeCoin Special Council because I think I could provide a unique blend of: value, experience, kindness, determination, hustle, approachability, and even sense of humor.
Motivation
My goal for ApeCoin is that it be so ubiquitous that it passes the “does my Mom know what this is?” test. I’m motivated to be a Special Council member because I think I can help us get there.
Rationale
Web3-wise, I’m currently a Mod for the 10k Club and Anonymice, and I also help run social for Anonymice. Additionally, my diverse background in different fields and industries have helped prepare me for this role. For example:
-
I have experience across the tech field, from tech sales to front-end developer
-
I have experiencing conveying ideas to a diverse audience, having taught both web development and cybersecurity
-
I have experience crafting copy and writing blogposts for larger audiences as a technical writer
-
I’ve led Junior Congregation at my synagogue, and was responsible for spearheading programming and events
Specifications.
I served as the “shiur assistant” at one of the top Talmud classes at Yeshiva University. I think a good suggestion for the DAO would be to create more tl;dr/ ELI5 easily digestible content-- which would be welcoming to many people.
Concluding Statement
After 2+ years of focusing solely on the crypto world, I consider myself to be learned in the field and wish to help share that knowledge with the ApeCoin community. Combining this with my demeanor, approachability, openness and willingness to learn, would make me a good choice for the Special Council.
