I’m really excited for Thank Ape and the precedent it’s setting. I’m not aware of any DAOs that are proactively rewarding contributors vs. retroactive funding through grant proposals. There’s another AIP which, if passed, would funnel fee’s taken from the ApeCoin marketplace back into the Thank Ape initiative, essentially providing a perpetual funding mechanism for active (meaningful) contributors.
