ApeCoin DAO,
Yesterday, March 31, 2024, marked Vulkan’s final day as Secretary. This decision was made on his own, and shared in his Notice of Resignation thread posted on March 23rd.
Vulkan has been an outstanding teammate and loyal member of the DAO in one form or another since April, 2022. He has served as a member of ApeComms, Steward with Working Group Zero, and most recently, our DAO Secretary. He also maintains a newsletter called The Bulletin Bored — he will be missed.
On the flipside, we’re absolutely thrilled to welcome @BojangleGuy to the team, who brings a wealth of DAO experience, both with ApeCoin as an approved AIP author through ApeCoin DAO 101: The Ultimate Guide For ApeCoin DAO Newcomers, and as a prominent member of the MeebitsDAO Steering Committee.
Bojangle will work closely with GWG Stewards on various fronts on top of traditional Secretary duties, including developing new initiatives and maintaining existing ones, and we’re looking forward to having him fully integrated as quickly as possible. Keeping that in mind, it’s worth noting that he’s already hit the ground running, working with Vulkan to understand certain processes from a high-level perspective as contracts are being finalized.
So once again, if you haven’t already, please give Vulkan a fairwell send-off wherever you can and Bojangle a warm welcome.
