There’s no need for all of us to rediscover fire, individually

Segmenting and Gatekeeping knowledge wouldn’t take us anywhere, as for the exponential progression of science and technology, we have to work in collaboration with one another cause that’s the only way to create lasting impact.

The Aim with this is to ensure the propagation of quality information throughout the space

Currently we have a lot of duplication of efforts happening within segmented societies. And that isn’t efficient at all. That’s a whole lot of wasted effort.

The progression of quality information, knowledge and learnings from individuals from varying institutions enables the network effect to kick in for the entirety of the web 3 space.

This can only happen if we work as a collective and not segmented groups doing whatever they like.

For which, we’ll need an efficient way to ensure the propagation of quality information and distillation of those learned lessons throughout the space.

The proposal envisions a suite of tools to enhance the user experience and streamline operations within the DAO ecosystem.

The ACT Stack v2.0 tools will include a lot of different tech, the comprehensive integration of which promises to exponentially amplify value creation while elevating the overall quality of user engagement.

Navigating the ACT Stack :

Navigating the ACT stack without any familiarity can be a pretty daunting task, lucky for you I’m here to help. Think of this document as your Handbook for everything you need to know about the ACT stack and how it can help you as a content creator and as an audience member

These are aspects of the ACT stack in Increasing order of their complexity :

1. Event / Spaces Coordination :

With this, you can get notified of the spaces or events of interest (which you decide beforehand) as they take place using your device’s native calendar app. The aim with this is to coordinate events led by community members within the Sui network in order to empower fractured collectives and help them coordinate events / spaces within their communities as well as across different sub communities in order to strengthen cooperation

I’ve tested this on iOS using the safari browser, and will test out android as well. If this doesn’t work, follow this tutorial for guides to set the calendar up for iOS, android and Outlook as well.

2. Accessing the Content Management System :

There are two ways one can access creator specific data within the ACT stack. The information being accessed through these two ways are the same, the only significant difference being convenience.

  • Using the CMS tied with a Frontend. Typically a url where anyone can access all the data about a specific discussion and refer to it if the need arises. It’ll contain everything underlined in #4 and more

  • Using the Calendar we’ve setup in #1, we can navigate to a certain space we want to access, click on that event and then click the link in the Notes part and you’ll be redirected to a screen where you can access everything

For example : We’ll take the 10KTF’s Teaching Tuesday space which took place on the 13th of december. We can access the TLDR, Summary, Transcript, Translation and the archive of the discussion for reference. (Translation functionality is broken rn)

All of this can be accessed with a single tap

3. Automated Summaries for your fav Twitter Spaces / Shows / YT podcasts :

It’s increasingly harder and harder to keep up with all the spaces and discussions happening across so many channels, so if you’re like me and need some help in this regard then you’re at the right place.

Concise summaries are the best way you can keep up with all the new updates within the fold, we condense all the information into byte sized content which is highly palatable and can be consumed within minutes while gathering as much context as it can.

That sounds cool and all, but how can I get access to this ?

There are currently two ways to get access to this functionality : #1 to #6

How much does it cost ?

It’s absolutely free for the audience member to use, they can register for as many shows they want.

It’s free for the Creator (for the entire duration of this pilot i.e. 60 days) after which the creator can choose to either stay onboard or part ways.

4. Transcription, Translation, Diarisation and Archiving of the Content :

Extracting actionable insights, key takeaways and context from a given data source

This ties into all the other aspects perfectly as it generates most of the data for our pipeline. The data which users access directly in #2 and indirectly through #5 and #6 is generated in this step

The pipeline we’ve built automates the archival and the subsequent processing of the content from all the users who sign up in #3. We check for new content every 24 hours. Automated uploading of this data over to CMS in #2 is being implemented as we speak.

Diarization : Determination of who spoke what and when, helps provide adequate context for going through discussions as it segments speakers according to what they spoke

The need for it : Transcribing an Audio with multiple speakers leads to a lot of context being lost by virtue of absence of contextual data. Diarization helps segment the auditory stimuli according to who spoke what and when. It can easily differentiate between 10 people at a time and provide the much needed breath of fresh air.

Multilingual Translations : Bridging the Linguistic gaps so that our biggest strength (multiculturalism) doesn’t become one of the biggest barriers in our communication.

The Diarized transcripts, along with their metadata tags will help us in #5 and #6

We combine the structured query capabilities of vector databases combined with raw semantic search to return the most relevant of context, thus improving the end result

(Example : A single batch of HubermanLabs podcasts being processed at once, this image being the transcript of one of said videos)

5. Unified Content Index :

Think of it as a central Library which houses all discussions which are held. The content inside which would be sorted accordingly and would be searchable

By keeping all this in a single place, one would be able to search through the content library for relevant discussions and then be able to refer to that particular discussion with the backlinks for that particular snippet

Data Aggregation from multiple sources to ensure we take in as much relevant data as humanly possible alongside its metadata identifiers to classify data accordingly

It keeps track of how the ideas being discussed evolve over time and provides a way for users to reference that

6. AI assistant powered by the Unified Content Index :
This assistant will have access to all the content within the Unified Content Index and will have enough context to respond to the user queries with accuracy

Access to it will be rolled out to everyone at no additional cost to the end user.
