PROPOSAL NAME:
ApeCoin DAO GovHack: Token2049, Singapore PROPOSAL AUTHORS:
ALL CITY, ApeCoin DAO Lead Governance Working Group
Klaus Brave, HackHumanity PROPOSAL CATEGORY:
Ecosystem Fund Allocation
TEAM DESCRIPTION:
ALL CITY (AC) and Klaus Brave will lead this initiative independently from the APE Foundation and the ApeCoin DAO Working Group structure. AC brings a deeply rooted understanding of ApeCoin DAO governance and community culture, while Klaus, the mastermind and founder of HackHumanity, developed and executes the GovHack delivery.
PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION:
The final version of this AIP will outline a strategic partnership between ApeCoin DAO and the architects behind Arbitrum DAO GovHacks, a revolutionary IRL activation protocol combining governance bootcamps and proposal-writing tournaments with some of Web3s most influential builders participating as guest speakers. Additionally, there may also be a much stronger focus on ApeChain than what is currently cbeing reflected on the document.
Watch the video below to see first-hand reactions from Arbitrum’s ETHDenver GovHack:
BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM:

Creating a large-stage platform for top builders to enter our ecosystem by developing impactful proposals within unique in-person competitive environments
DEFINITIONS:
Currently there are no new key terms shown on the proposal that require any broader explanation to the ApeCoin DAO community.
I’m a big fan of arbitrum, hackathons, decentralized governance and the social layer of DAOs, so this hits a lot of important issues. Do you think this could be merged with or complementary to @MisterHype’s AIP: Expansion of ApeChain Presence at Token2049 Singapore?
David… Great question — and yes, absolutely. Both of these proposals should, and will be complimentary of one another, if they both pass.
This was actually an unexpected cooincidence, as me and MisterHype are quite good friends, and were great partners bringing ApeCoin DAO to NFC Lisbon:
I will double check, but I think 'Hype has recently adjusted the ask of his AIP to reflect other ApeCoin-operated initiatives that may be going on during Token2049, like our GovHack.
The other insight that I’d give, is that if there were to be one city and stop to have such a significant presence at, it would be this week in Singapore, with the Alpine/ApeCoin cars racing at the Formula One Grand Prix, and Token2049, where over 20,000 attendees and 7000 companies are expected.
The community feedback period for your proposal would be ending in less than 24 hours.
If you’re content with the feedback received, your next steps are to finalize your proposal using the AIP Draft Template.
