Appreciate you sharing these insights.

The Pareto Principle likely applies to the DAO as with most other organizations, so 20% of the folks being responsible for 80% of the results.

Would like to see some changes where positions are awarded based on merit and where star players are properly compensated for their time.

Well done! Glad to see you raise this up. Your 1 post is a lot more powerful than @SmartAPE’s few AIPs or million words :rofl::rofl:

You know that by naming names and leaving other names out, you basically end up with us looking at those missing names really funny, right? That’s like saying there were four people in the meeting, and these three totally weren’t sleeping. lol

I hate it when it does that; and it’s precisely why I use memes instead.

All of the above led to my writing all these proposals which are hopefully going to vote soonish.

AIP-469: Ape Foundation To Clarify Ability To Terminate Contracts
AIP-467: Proposal To Revise Special Council & WG Stewards Term Limits

More like a nod to how well this aligns with the discussion—structure just came to mind!

I wish you all the best as you begin this new chapter.

Thanks for your contributions, I know it wasn’t easy.

This is a step towards making sure smaller voices get heard.

Many of the posters here are intelligent and have been saying related suggestions without being noticed.

Respect! Thank you for exposing these things about DAO

Thanks for your honesty, @BojangleGuy. It’s hard to step off a gravy train, even when it’s going in the wrong direction. Some people would rather a gilded mirror though they prefer not to look in it. I applaud your decision. It’s the kind of choice that can help to DAO space to mean something for the many, rather than being another tool of the few.

For Transparency, how many Working Groups did you get added as a signer of their multi-sigs. This is a requirement of the Secretary role and a requirement for the WG Stewards to add the Secretary, as their AIP Grants stipulate they must comply to AIP-239.

If you were not added, why? What actions did you make to rectify if not done?

For the community. He was added onto all of the GWG Wallets (23 wallets), which we will be in the process of removing him over the next week.

Also, we will publish the Wallet Strategy I created to follow transparency best practices.

After reading all of this, I dont think majority of people were problem but those who came afterwards.
Like bojangle said, no one wanted to be a rat. People like you, me and @SmartAPE got cancelled or were infamous coz we spoke what others already knew but didnt had the courage of speak of; i.e. corruption happening within the DAO. I think some SC members didnt spoke of this for the very same reason. It’s bad for sure but better late then never.

  1. How is this about transparency?
  2. What is the relevance of this query - in this discussion?

Oh, now it’s about the community, is it? If you had issues to share with the community, why did you not previously voice them instead of using this incident thread to inject this sort of one-side rhetoric - and without context? And that you previously cited an NDA that you claim seemingly prevents you from accountability and transparency to the DAO that’s paying you, is conduct unbecoming for someone in your position in DAO leadership.

Right. So, while we’re on the subject of the “community” please take this opportunity to explain the following:

  1. What challenges you have had since being voted into the GwG during the Dec 2023 elections
  2. Outline the friction that has prevented you from working well with others in the GwG, and to the extent that this isn’t the first such resignation that you’re associated with as per your role in the GwG.
  3. When will you be resigning your role in the GwG?

I doubt that anyone cares. But if you must, please go and create another topic for that.
