1. Is the Ape Foundation expected to engage in any of the steps of the AIP implementation? If so, please specify the steps and elaborate on how it is expected to work.
If AIP Passes, Ape Foundation is only expected to transfer funds to the GovWG Multi-sig as soon as possible. Otherwise, to the best of our knowledge, we donât believe the Ape Foundation is required to engage further.
2. Under Steps to Implement : âRequest the Governance Working Group (GovWG) to set up the Marketing and Communications Working Group (MarComms WG) as a DAO LLC, in the same manner as their ownWorking Group.â
This implies that the GovWGâs stewards would also serve as the officers for this newly established entity. Is this the intended arrangement?
Good catch. Weâve updated the step to read:
âRequest the GovWG establish the MarComms WG as a DAO LLC in the same jurisdiction and manner as their own Working Group, preparing the legal paperwork up to the point of signing the entity into existence with the 2 newly elected MCWG Stewards (15k to MetaLaw)â
âŚwith the intention to have the newly elected MarComms Stewards as officers of the new entity.
3. Has your team confirmed collaborations with verified space hosts? Please provide any evidence.
We have verbal agreements with all the Spaces and Hosts listed - nothing in writing as the only expectation is for them to send us their schedules on a voluntary basis.
4. Has your team confirmed collaborations with Tally Labs? Please provide any evidence.
We have a verbal agreement with Tally Labs via Captâs discussions with Apewood, Valet Jones & SAFA, the main principals of the team.
5. Can you provide more details about the automated PR flows mentioned under your Steps to Implement? Are these related to the Spaces Media Network, or other relevant areas?
Depending upon which developer/team we work with for the website, the main automated flow will revolve around Twitter/X APIs to populate our Events Guide with scheduled Spaces, and yes part of the Spaces Media Network.
6. From the Notes section, is it expected that the GovWG would provide legal and liability support for the CAT team? If there are any other parties expected to fall under this benefit, besides the CAT team, please identify them.
GovWG as a DAO LLC protection would cover the Comms Action Team and any other individual members that provide services (graphics, recordings, etc).
7. Has your team identified any explicit Key Performance Indicators for your project?
Our work with this AIP is to create the framework and initial infrastructure for the upcoming MCWG who we expect to execute any and all campaigns that will be measured with KPIs.
8. Would your expectation be to keep complete ownership of content produced from this proposal?
While the individual recordings of Spaces in our SMN will be the property of their respective hosts, the other assets will be transferred to the MCWG when they are prepared to take over.
9. Do you provide consent to share these questions and answers with the community in this forum?

I would first consider any tax implications. If you have your corporate structure setup in a tax free or low tax jurisdiction you wonât have to pay either corporate tax or income tax on the transfer.
