I would like to clarify a few key points, particularly regarding our collaboration with Yuga Labs. Since February 2024, during NFT Paris, we had the pleasure of discussing this project with Yuga Labs members like Tina, Baron, and Illa. Our conversations were very positive, and during subsequent ZOOM meetings, we received their approval. However, after the events in Hong Kong, their legal advisors recommended against attempting the Guinness World Record during ApeFest, but as a side event, we have their full support.
Originally, we planned to carry out this event during ApeFest, aiming to capitalize on the moment when all eyes would be on our community. Due to timing and logistics, we now know that we won’t be ready by the October deadline. Therefore, we are focusing on hosting the event during the next NFT Paris. This gives us more time to prepare, while still keeping us in the spotlight.
One of the key elements of the project is promoting $Apecoin and ApeCoinDAO. ApeCoin will be featured on our bottles throughout the year, significantly increasing its visibility in Web2. GinApe is a premium-grade product (London Dry), which can generate a 20% ROI from sales over the course of the year. Every bottle will be labeled “Powered by ApeCoin,” meaning $Apecoin will be promoted for 12 months, supporting the ApeCoinDAO.
I understand that some may see this as a promotion of the GinApe brand, but it’s important to remember that ApeCoinDAO is all of us. That’s why we want this project to energize our community. We’re planning a 10k $APE giveaway, which will surely attract attention and generate the necessary buzz around $Apecoin and the DAO. The Mystery Box will add even more excitement, especially as its collectible value grows.
It’s also important not to forget that establishing an official Guinness World Record will generate significant global media attention. The media loves this type of event, which gives us an opportunity for even greater exposure. I’m confident that together – as an innovative community – we will amplify awareness of $Apecoin, making a strong entry into Web2.
Finally, regarding the proposed cost-sharing, please note that organizational and promotional costs dominate, and the cost of the Gin & Tonic itself only represents about 7% of the entire investment.
