This AIP is submitted by Fomoverse, the exclusive agency for all marketing of GoPro within Southeast Asia, responsible for branding, marketing, social, production, channel management. PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION:
Fomoverse is seeking ApeCoin’s sponsorship for the Phi Ta Khon Festival Content Creation Project, a collaborative effort between Tourism Thailand and GoPro. The Phi Ta Khon Festival, also known as the Loei Ghost Festival, is a renowned cultural celebration in Thailand that attracts thousands of tourists annually. The event is part of Thailand’s new tourism push to promote unique and less-explored destinations costing approximately USD 2 million for the location of Dan Sai, Loei province, Isan, Thailand.
The project will integrate 15 GoPro content creators and 5 Web3 Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), who will attend the 6-day, 5-night event to capture and share their experiences through immersive content creation. ApeCoin’s sponsorship will enhance the scope of the project, particularly by supporting Web3 KOLs in showcasing how decentralized technologies, including ApeCoin, can enrich travel, tourism, and content creation. The project offers a unique opportunity for ApeCoin to gain real-world visibility alongside global brands, connecting its ecosystem to both Web2 and Web3 audiences.

ApeCoin’s sponsorship will be integrated into several aspects of the project:
- 20 Advocates: A total of 20 advocates will attend the event, consisting of 15 GoPro creators and 5 Web3 KOLs. These advocates will create content centred on the festival, highlighting the cultural richness of Phi Ta Khon while integrating ApeCoin’s brand into their narratives.
- ApeCoin-Branded Materials:
Co-branded items will be created, including 100 swag kits, branded welcome items, and ApeCoin event branding at various festival touchpoints. These items will be distributed to both advocates and festival participants, enhancing ApeCoin’s presence on the ground. - Content Creation:
Advocates will capture and share their experiences throughout the festival, utilising GoPro equipment and producing high-quality content. This content will be distributed across Web2 and Web3 platforms, with ApeCoin branding featured prominently in the narratives created by both Web3 KOLs and traditional GoPro creators. - Post-Event Amplification:
The content created during the festival will be amplified across multiple platforms, ensuring that ApeCoin’s sponsorship receives maximum exposure. A final video, produced by GoPro, will include ApeCoin branding and will be promoted through partnering channels, reaching a broad audience.

STEPS TO IMPLEMENT:
Step 1: December 2024 - Finalising Partnerships and Funding
- This project is organised by Tourism Thailand and GoPro.
- ApeCoin will join as a sponsored brand upon approval of this AIP.
- The sponsorship will ensure that ApeCoin is prominently positioned throughout the event and content creation process, including branding and visibility.
- Finalise partnerships with ApeCoin and secure the full sponsorship fund by the end of December 2024.
Step 2: January 2025 - Selection of Advocates
- A total of 15 GoPro creators and 5 Web3 KOLs will be selected to participate.
- These advocates will create high-quality content during the festival, integrating ApeCoin’s brand into their narratives.
- This content will reach both Web2 (mainstream consumers) and Web3 (blockchain enthusiasts) audiences through various platforms.
Step 3: January - May 2025 Festival Preparation
- All co-branded materials, including 100 swag kits and branded event items, will be prepared for distribution.
- These materials will ensure ApeCoin’s branding is visible throughout the event.
- The preparation will also include logistical planning for the creators’ participation and GoPro equipment setup.
- The festival preparation is 5 months for the entire Dan Sai, the ApeCoin portion will be a part of the whole plan.
Step 4: Content Creation
- During the 6-day, 5-night festival, advocates will capture their experiences using GoPro products.
- The content will be shared across multiple platforms, with ApeCoin’s branding integrated into the creators’ experiences, highlighting both the cultural elements and the use of Web3 technologies.
Step 5: Post-Event Amplification
- After the festival, the content created by both GoPro creators and Web3 KOLs will be distributed and amplified across digital platforms.
- This will include distribution on social media, blockchain-based content platforms, and partnering channels.
- A final overall video will be produced by the agency, summarizing the event and featuring ApeCoin branding. This video will be shared widely to maximize visibility and engagement.
REPORTING EXPECTATIONS:
A post-event report will be provided within 30 days of the event’s completion. This report will outline ApeCoin’s participation and branding presence during the festival, along with a general summary of the event’s social impact, including overall reach and engagement metrics across relevant platforms. It will also include a brief reflection on the potential for future collaboration opportunities. The report will be made available in a PDF format in a Google Drive, which link will be sent upon completion.

“Total amount requested from the ApeCoin Ecosystem Fund = $248,000 USD.”
Budget Summary:
- $180,000 for Sponsorship: This amount will serve as the core sponsorship contribution by ApeCoin.
- $50,000 for Participation and Event Costs: This will cover the logistical expenses of the 6-day, 5-night excursion, including travel, accommodations, F&B, and activities for the 20 advocates (15 GoPro creators and 5 Web3 KOLs). It will also contribute to the costs associated with ApeCoin-brand activations during the festival.
- $18,000 for Co-Brand Activations and Content Amplification: This portion will be allocated to co-branded materials (100 swag kits, branded event items, and welcome kits), as well as post-production and content amplification. A portion of the funds will be used for the creation of a final video produced, featuring ApeCoin branding, which will be promoted across partnering channels.
Funding Tranches
- Tranche 1: $180,000– Released upon approval of the proposal and initiation of Step 1: Finalising Partnerships and Funding. Disbursement to be in December 2024 if possible.
- Tranche 2: $68,000 – Disbursed in Step 2: Selection of Advocates 15th January 2025.
