Initial reaction: Interested in this. Puts the Ape back in ApeCoin.
Anything that balances and democratizes voting in the DAO is a move in the right direction IMO.
Is 6M the right number?
Also, if we do this for the BAYC/MAYC community, what other communities should be allowed to receive a similar delegation of $APE? Can we make some criteria for that?
One question as MOCA has most of the delegation 6 of 6.3m from Animoca, to replicate this wouldn’t it make sense that Yuga was the one delegating their ApeCoin. Of course we can’t vote on what Yuga wants to do with its APE, just putting this point out there.
I cant even pin point some things that will render this idea useless in this phase. Hopefully it will be updated with more insight. Some things in my opinion that should be considered:
#1 A large number of Bored Apes dont like the DAO or how its functioning at all. #2 Assigning 6 million $ape would give the limited number of apes that are active a massive power trip. We know what happens when egos clash in DAO. #3 Not many people are a fan of Moca delegation in the Apecoin DAO and its weightage over voting, its been brought up time and again.
There are many more like this, mostly on legal basis, the execution of this AIP process here is incomplete.
I seriously believe that Bored Apes and Apecoin should be consider entirely different entity and have been saying this since the very beginning of me exploring the DAO.
Suggestion: I think instead of this 6 million $ape delegation just like Moca Community, all of the interested bored apes can delegate their own $ape to one wallet to vote and follow the procedure you want to have. This way slowly and gradually every bored ape will be an advocate of $ape and its voting practice and in time it’ll grow. Maybe more than 6 million $apes. I’m 100% sure right now that directly giving 6 million $ape voting power to only a hundred Bored Apes and Mutant would actually disrupt the voting mechanism even more. You think 2-3 major whale wallets are power trip but imagine one more whale voting wallet with only few bored apes voting inside the DAO.
The community feedback period for your proposal would be ending in roughly 24 hours.

Are you ready to proceed to the next phase or do you wish to extend community discussion for another 7 days?
Appreciate not all of the comments made are supportive, but I really think this is stroke of genius - to bring back the OG YUGA APES - especially with ApeChain launch rapidly approaching.
I do have one question @Moca_Bond_007 - will there be a quorum like Moca? If yes what are you thinking, and if not could I ask why? (Or tbd at a later date once passed etc)
Thank you for your ideas [and the ApeCoin DAO community for the insightful discussions].
A moderator will reach out to the author to finalize the AIP Draft using the appropriate template.
Once the AIP Draft is confirmed by the author and meets all DAO-approved guidelines, it will receive an AIP ID number and move forward for Draft Analysis Review.
@Moca_Bond_007 please see your messages for the next steps.
