I’m Evil, an artist, mentor and curator from India. I’m passionate about creating an open environment for community members and act as a bridge between the same and Ape Foundation.

Details on your motivation for becoming a Governance Working Group Steward
I want to cover the other side of the world which currently doesnt have any active Working Group calls or twitter spaces to represent the DAO. Many people want to attend these calls but due to timezone difference its not possible right now. We have to sacrifice our sleep or have to stay away late or wake up early in order to contribute towards the calls. Many active members of the DAO are on this side of the world who are able to contribute but not directly in convo with the stewards.

Share relevant experience and skills that will bring value to the ApeCoin DAO
I’m an early evangelist of NFT for India since 2020. I have helped and onboarded numerous artist throughout the years via educating and creating awareness around the blockchain and NFTs. I’m also one of the early Ambassadors for NFT marketplace " Makersplace ". I am able to create a welcoming environment for new users and DAO members, connect with people and guide them.

I’m also one the co-founders of Meebits DAO, a development DAO making utilities around Meebits and founder of DAZE with the aim to bridge the gap between a common man and blockchain. Also one of the early members of Pizza DAO, where I onboarded and created toppings for the NFTs alongside other brilliant artist, hosting pizza parties on half of the DAO.

I’m fit for the role as I’m someone who has steered the community I’ve created and belong to a positive outlook throughout the time I’ve been here. As a Steward I will also cover the other part of the world that is currently untouched from the Working Group side.

I’m Evil, one of the early evangelist for NFTs from India since 2020. I’m an artist. curator and mentor that has build a community of artist and collectors since the very beginning of NFT art scene in India and it still stands strong. Thats why I believe that I’m the right person for the position to steer the values that Apecoin DAO stands for and create an impact to a more wider audience.
In early days of NFTs, I created @CryptoArtIndia along with 4 other Indian artist early in the space. Down the line created 2 artworks for @CryptoRelief_ and donated it towards Covid Relief Fund
I co-founded DAZE along with 2 other members of CIC an year later where we exhibited NFTs in physical spaces. This was back in 2021 where people were still exploring NFTs virtually. There we showcased new artist in physical spaces and gave them the spotlight they deserved.
In short, I’m someone who has more than necessary experience in nurturing the community and its need, helping people and creating a safe haven for new people who are exploring the DAO.
Alongside this, I’m also one of the co-founders of Meebits DAO, a development DAO around our lovely Meebs.

Hey @Evil just wanted to stop into your thread and thank you for contributing for all this time. You bring a lot of great ideas and enthusiasm. I really enjoyed getting to talk w/ you on Spaces today and I think we naturally align on a lot of topics.

I heard you speak on a twitter spaces recently for your AIP and really appreciate you representing the Meebs and building to support developers and creators in India.
Totally agree - nothing but good vibes, great knowledge, here all the time putting in the work and trying to drive us all forward.
Another point, and I mean this out of great respect - would be really nice to see a diverse mixture of cultures, nationalities and languages throughout the paid roles within the DAO. For me this adds another extra tick for Evil due to the unique perspective and connection to emerging markets he has. LFG
Thank you @tigerisfine I’ve hosted 5+ meet ups focused on artist with my team at DAZE, there has been a rise in developers requesting to do the same for them lol. I’m trying to share the Ape culture here as well and would love to take it to the next level as a Steward for Apecoin DAO.

Exactly my point! The DAO currently lacks official representatives to cover Asia. It’s a vast audience out here and we often miss official calls and twitter spaces that often have major discussions around topics. Love that some people are sacrificing their sleep lmao. I know we, the Asian community has lots to contribute.

Speaking of diversification, the recent meet up I did for Global Pizza Part by Pizza DAO, Rare Pizza NFT.
This is just one table where I was free enough to get a group picture. This table consist of marketers, artist, product managers, investors, developers, VC and community builders. All of these people can be the one bringing in the next big AIP for Apecoin DAO, who knows!

ahahah thank you for the kind words, I can proudly say that I’m an evangelist for NFTs in India since the very beginning. With these elections I would like to represent the DAO in Asia and southeast Asia as well.
So many of us dont even get the chance to attend Working Group calls or weekly meetings. It’s too centric towards America and its timezone so would be good if there’s a Steward at this part of the world too so that the DAO can cover the entire globe not just in theory.
I bother 0xMJ every once in a while hahaha, would be epic if you can get the BAAP folks to vote for me here. I’ve trying to create $ape community in India as well just like Canadian and French Ape Clubs. Not much unity as of now.
