I think we start here Vulkan… This is where the core ApeCoin community breathes and as I’m learning, has so much talent and interesting people making the wheels go round. From there we target community servers like BAYC, Mutant Cartel, Meebits, Otherside, Cryptopunks, 10ktf and beyond. Also as brought to light by the community during our idea phase, tapping into other communities will be critical for onboarding and our overall success as well, so reaching out to members from projects like Nouns, Doodles, Moonbirds etc will also be in full swing.

Quick bump before the Christmas break and thought I would take the opportunity to highlight that we’ve added the upcoming ApeTalent project led by @holocronape to our specifications section as the perfect example of where we intend on sourcing out service providers for Beyond the SWAMP. So impressed by what they are doing and thrilled to learn that the ApeCoinDAO helped bring it all together.
Also wanted to pass along a big congratulations to the remaining candidates who moved on into the final round of Special Council voting and pass along our respects to everyone else for their courage when running during the first stage.

One of my big dreams is to begin to see how projects supported by the community begin to connect with each other and thus born super positive synergies for the community and the growth of the ApeCoin ecosystem. So refreshing to see ideas like this! Exactly what DAO funds are meant for, and with down-to-earth costings, which is unlike many other AIP ideas that come in heavily inflated always.
I think this should easily pass and look forward to minting and claiming my first IRL magazine your team produces.

This is exactly what the ecosystem needs, more outlets to establish the culture in a digestible form. As a contributor to HypeBeast in my younger years, I 100% see the value in content delivery in this form. With a diverse team of contributors from all over the world, HypeBeast had a somewhat decentralized structure.
I can see this following a similar model, with contributors from the APE ecosystem providing a range of cultural perspectives.

I concur, I would like to see other pricing/supply models presented. Having thousands of these available at prices that could encourage buyers to spread these throughout their communities would seem to be a better move

The reason for us not including other pricing and supply models at this stage of the process was to remain decisive in our plans and stand by the overall grant request as discussed during the idea phase in Discourse. Aside from building something great for the space, one of our primary goals was to limit our overall ask to only what was absolutely necessary for getting the project on its feet; hence scaling from 350 on our first issue to 700 by our third. It should also be noted that once funding has been approved and we begin consulting with marketers/advisors/community leaders, increasing the number of magazines and accompanying NFTs by as much as 100% would not have a huge impact on our overall startup costs and if any additional funding was needed, we are confident raising those monies privately could be executed without much trouble.
We also have plans to seek out larger distribution in the physical world after year one. Magazines have a had a strong resurgence of late and we would love nothing more than to see Beyond the SWAMP showcasing ApeCoin and the NFT space on bookshelves around the globe.
