I am glad that your offer has grown into an AIP. What decision will be made regarding the implementation of NFT?

There will be a free to mint NFT for ApeCoin holders with at least 50 $APE in their wallet. Each of these NFTs will be eligible to claim one bottle, and once it is used to claim a bottle, the metadata will update to show it was “claimed” with an image of the product that was claim. This will make it sort of like a poap.

Always interests me to see the gear behind the process.
Back when covid came on, an organization that I was with wanted to do something for the community, and due to extreme demand hand sanitizer became expensive and tough to find.
Because of this I got the idea to try and track down wholesale shipments of it but ended up finding a local distillery that had converted from producing vodka and I was able to secure 15 gallons of it. Huge petrol truck parked outside pumping ethanol into their production site.
Ended up bottling it all and handing it out during a commercial open house we held.

- Is the Ape Foundation expected to engage in any of the steps of the AIP implementation? If so, please specify the steps and elaborate on how it is expected to work.
No. We do not expect or require any involvement from the Ape Foundation.
- Aside from holder mailing addresses, will you be collecting any user data during their interactions? If so, please elaborate.
No. We will not collect any user data that is not standard practice on a Shopify ecommerce checkout to fulfill shipping of orders.
- How will holder mailing address information, and other personal data collected, be secured and stored?
Order information will not be exported from Shopify and stored by us. This is from Shopify: “Customer data is securely stored on Shopify’s PCI compliant servers. As a merchant, you can’t access full credit card info. You must comply with privacy laws and regulations. Check out Shopify’s Privacy Policy for more info.”
- The NFT claim will require Web3 connectivity, is there a security audit plan in place, and will you share the audit report with the ApeCoin DAO?
We have built several Web3 platforms that have always been safe and secure. For peace of mind, we will arrange to have our smart contract and mint platform audited by an industry recognized security firm. We will discuss this with Boring Security and either work with them or hire someone who they recommended.
- In your proposal, you suggest allocating 5% of profits to a community Multisig wallet. Who do you propose as the signatories for this wallet?
We will submit a separate AIP with several options and allow the community to vote on the selection of signers. We will nominate at least 10-12 well known and respected individuals from the community to vote on and select 5 signers.
- Would your expectation be to keep complete full ownership of content produced from this proposal?
Yes. However we are willing to share it with anyone who asks.
- Is the payment of 1,100,000 ApeCoin requested in your AIP upfront or based on milestones?
It is not necessary to receive it all upfront. We can receive it in 3 tranches of 30/40/30%, based on milestones.
- Is the completion of this initiative contingent on ApeCoin price at the time of the grant disbursement?
No. While the amount requested is based on the current price of ApeCoin, minor fluctuations in price will not affect our ability to complete the initiative.
- What platforms will you be leveraging with the launch of your “targeted marketing campaign?”
We will use social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and TikTok, as well as video streaming on Youtube. The campaign will also include irl activations where all attendees are drinking Twisted Ape.
- Do you provide consent to share these questions with the community in this forum?
Yes absolutely.
A DAR package is being worked on and upon completion this AIP will move into Administrative Review. Follow this Topic as further updates will be posted here in the comments.

In light of this announcement, I’d like to announce that we intend to work with the foundation so that 10% of our net profits from sales of Twisted Ape will go back to the Apecoin DAO.
In our AIP we already propose to allocate 5% of our profits into a community controlled multisig wallet for the benefit of the Apecoin ecosystem. With today’s announcement, we learned that we are in fact allowed to give value back to the DAO, eliminating the need for a multisig.
We are increasing the percentage to 10% of our net profits and will send the funds directly to the Apecoin DAO, following approval and instruction from the foundation to do so.
This percentage is perpetual. As long as Twisted Ape is on the market generating sales, we will continue to share revenue with the DAO.
We hope to set a standard and encourage other authors to present AIPs that offer similar benefits to the Apecoin DAO.

Yes absolutely! We will ship to any country that we are legally allowed to ship to. And yes there will certainly be generous discounts for the community.
If this AIP passes, there will be a FREE claim for all BAYC and MAYC holders, and 20,000 $APE holders.

You will only need to have 50 $APE in your wallet to claim a free bottle. So even if you do not have much $APE now, I think its best if you get 50 $APE into a wallet in time for the free claim. This is of course if the AIP passes.
