I think to really kill it and do what the AIP intends it has to be a Lambo. No joke.
Also Web3 “I made it” = lambo (right or wrong).
If we’re being serious there are options here. You could rent instead of own. Would be cheaper possibly and also less hassle. Could add more money for lambo package at bigger events. Etc etc.
This does make me smile today ngl.

The car simply acts as an amplifier for the content that is produced. And the Porsche will certainly do that job 
It attracts attention, it polarizes, “WTF did this guy really get a car from the DAO” -
People are much more engaged immediately!
And then we have them where we want them - celebrating it, hating it and most importantly listening & reading.

but most importantly we will have people like @Lost there educating all these people about how they can submit an AIP as well.
we will have @blockchainzilla telling them to take all that energy and build cool stuff on ApeChain
The car is just a tool to get more attention.
To get us more reach & engagement for the actual use of this AIP - content & education.

And yeah I also thought about leveraging the current F1 partnership.
Meeting with one of the drivers as you suggested would be huge.
There are unlimited content opportunities that would go viral for sure!
I have edited the AIP Idea once more and included more information on the nature of the content I want to create.
And why the car is needed to make this 100x more effective.
People on the forum and X getting distracted by the car shows that the guerrilla marketing is already working.
There is rarely as much engagement in the forum as in this AIP
In an endless X feed you need to stand out. You need to polarize. You need to grab the attention and once you have it, you start to spread your message!!!
AND the Apemobile can be leveraged by the whole community. Not just me.
The pictures I take can obv be used by everyone.

Ah ok, you’re serious about this. I didn’t realise. 
How about this:
Instead of selling the apemobile after 3 years and money back to the DAO - it gets raffled off (or some other fair method) for TL2 members and above (or something similar to stop sybils)? (Winner pays shipping costs.)
OR
We do an auction and sell it to highest bidder and that money goes to a charity that’s been voted on by the DAO prior? (Think Christie’s & a children’s charity.)
Some additions like that may help rally more support - regardless, the AIP certainly has merit.

Since money back to the DAO could cause problems… donating the proceeds after 3 years to a charity could be a really cool alternative. Thank you for the input.

No it is not.
2. Your Team Description mentions that the megakoda.eth delegation is the largest community delegation. Can you provide any metrics to support this claim?
https://delegate.apecoin.com/ this site is currently not showing any delegations for me.
However, we have 1.1m voting power and all $APE come from various community members. Mocaverse & Horizen do not meet this criteria. JRNY is 1 person and not really a delegation.
BendDAO is apparently building a larger delegation atm. However, the majority of voting power will come from vis.
Surrealguild is approx. the same size as megakodas but not as active anymore.
3. Considering the pending involvement of the Marketing and Communications Working Groups in this proposal, do you consent to updating your AIP to allow the Marketing and Communications Working Group to opt-in to participate in this initiative? Alternatively, can you provide proof of their commitment to participating?
I had a chat with them once before the elections. A new person will be joining and I will reach out again and will try to provide proof of their commitment. Meanwhile you can change to opt-in to participate.
4. Do you consent to updating the proposed timeline to reflect the possibility that this AIP may not go to Snapshot vote until after September 2024?
Yes of course but why would it not go to vote until after Sep 24?
5. Approximately how large would the “Powered by ApeCoin” branding be on the side of the vehicle?
Slightly bigger than this and in white or ApeCoin Blue (white/blue on black is perfect).
It should remain in the classic Porsche style. A lot of Porsche have branding on the side showing the specific model “GTS, Turbo, etc.”.
License plate with APE 911 will stand out a lot.

6. “Kodama will post at least one content piece per week.”
Which platform(s) would be leveraged, and which account(s) would be hosting this content?
Mainly X → x.com
An Instagram account called “Apemobile” could be established as well.
However, the biggest platform in web3 is X and this is where the focus lies.
7. During the community feedback period, you mentioned that “Every Ape can drive (the Apemobile) at ApeFest in Lisbon”.
Looking back, that was clearly an exaggeration. It will def not work to let 5000+ Apes drive.
ApeFest would be just the perfect start for the Apemobile. I am not sure if it can be done because the timeline is quite tight.
a) Is it still your intention that members of the community will be eligible to drive the Apemobile?
The general intention is that members of the community should take pictures together with the Apemobile and post it.
A few members according to the owner’s assessment will also be able to drive.
Especially at ApeFest and conferences/meetups a lot of ppl drink alcohol.
I have to be very selective and careful.

there will not be an official way, like a form, to make a request

Yes I will personally create the content and can ensure that it will not involve illegal activity (like mentioned above e.g. drunk driving for example) or anything that is at odds with the mission or values of the APE Foundation.

Firstly, I’d like to express my gratitude for having a Chinese version available, making it accessible for everyone to read, while also focusing on building a multicultural community.
There are several innovative ideas in this proposal, which also encourage bold creativity. However, here are a few questions that could potentially help further refine the proposal:

Has there been consideration given to switching from purchasing to a one-time rental plan? This could potentially save costs, while also addressing uncertainties regarding the longevity of trending topics.

I believe that ApeCoin and the ecosystem will be a trending topic for several years to come. However, it could be a good idea to just lease the car and test the initiative for 1 year.
I will consider this for a potential resubmission.
However, please keep in mind that the car is mainly a tool to polarize and gather attention. The real value of this AIP lies in content/marketing/education by a KOL for a period of 3 years. -
This is all about ApeCoin, Apes, and the broader YugaLabs community.
The car will only include ApeCoin IP.
The car is the Apemobile and not a car with 10 different PFPs on it. -
If the AIP passes in time efforts will be made to partner with ApeFest. Otherwise the idea is to talk to the organizers of NFT Paris and NFC Lisbon. The two major European web3 & NFT events.
I know both organizers and I am sure they would be down for a partnership. -
No. Insurance wise this is not possible.
There might be the possibility to raffle exclusive driving experiences to a few community members. However, this is not something that can be guaranteed up front.
I notice that basically all your questions are related to the car. This once again demonstrates that it serves its purpose. It gathers attention and polarizes.
Leasing is def a terrible deal compared to buying. Especially if you consider the current interest rate. It will require less capital upfront but in the long run you pay 15-20% extra atm.
And I agree that Porsche 911 models hold their value very very well.
This is why I want to return the resell amount after 3 years. Making the effective costs of this AIP extremely low.
